A heartbroken Paris Hilton shared a sad update as she showed her fans the ruins of her $8.4 million Malibu home after it was burned down in the Los Angeles fires.
Amid the massive inferno, there were fears that the socialite's home was one of many burned to ashes, and she confirmed those reports when she revealed she watched her house burn down on live television.
Hilton is one of many celebrities who lost their properties to the devastating wildfires that wreaked havoc in Southern California.

On Friday, Hilton shared a video of what used to be her Malibu house in rubbles after the damaging effects of the wildfires.
In addition to the video, the hotel heiress added a lengthy caption describing her feelings after seeing her home in ruins.
She wrote, "I'm standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable. When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces."
Hilton, who shares son Phoenix Barron and daughter London Marilyn with her husband Carter Reum, recalled the beautiful memories she shared with her family.
She said, "This house wasn't just a place to live— It was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family."
The mother of two added, "It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words."
Paris Hilton Empathizes With People In A Similar Situation
Hilton, knowing she wasn't the only one who lost property in the catastrophic wildfires, had some words for people in a similar situation.
She wrote, "What breaks my heart even more is knowing that this isn't just my story. So many people have lost everything. It's not just walls and roofs—it’s the memories that made those houses homes. It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives."
The 43-year-old acknowledged she is "lucky" to still have her family with her despite losing their home.
She said, "And yet, in this pain, I know I’m incredibly lucky. My loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe. That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have."
Hilton also expressed gratitude to "all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires."

In the concluding part of her caption, Hilton thanked people who "sent love, prayers, and kindness" as their actions reminded her that "even in the ashes, there is still beauty in this world."
She wrote, "Thank you from the deepest part of my heart. And to everyone going through this pain, please know that you're not alone. We're in this together. We will rebuild, we will heal, and we will rise stronger than before."
Hilton concluded by reminding everyone to hold their loved ones close and cherish the beautiful moments they share.
She added, "Life can change in an instant, and it’s the love we share that truly matters. I’m sending all my love to everyone who is hurting right now."

Hilton's post comes two days after she revealed she watched her house burn down on live TV.
She made the revelation in another lengthy post on Instagram, where she shared ABC 7 news footage showing her burned-down residence.
In the post's caption, Hilton said she was "heartbroken beyond words," before adding, "Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience."
Although the loss of her Malibu home saddened Hilton, she was grateful that her family and pets were safe.

In addition to Paris Hilton, numerous celebrities suffered huge losses in the Los Angeles wildfires.
Some include Jhené Aiko, Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Cameron Mathison.
Others include Diane Warren, James Woods, Ricki Lake, Billy Crystal, Anthony Hopkins, and Jennifer Grey.
Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, John Goodman, and Melissa Rivers also lost their houses in the inferno.
