After news of the fire in southern California spread on Tuesday, many were concerned about pop star Britney Spears and her Thousand Oaks estate.

Although the "Toxic" singer was located north of Pacific Palisades, multiple fires popped up as the embers were spread by hurricane-force winds. On Thursday night, the Princess of Pop took to social media to let her followers know that she was currently staying at a hotel about four hours away after being forced to evacuate.

Britney Spears Evacuated After Losing Electricity For Several Days

Many fans expressed concern for the “Oops!... I Did It Again” singer online after she did not update her Instagram page after Tuesday when the first started to spread. On Thursday night, she posted a video of a pair of shoes while explaining that she had to evacuate her home and drive four hours to a hotel after going several days without electricity.

“I hope you are all doing OK !!! I had to evacuate my home and I’m driving 4 hours to a hotel !!! I’m posting these adorable shoes to lift people’s spirits !!! Most people may not even be on their phones !!!” she wrote in a brief caption. “I wasn’t the past two days because I had no electricity to charge and I just got my phone back !!! I pray you’re all doing well and I send my love !!!”

Many celebrities have lost everything in the blaze. Britney Spears’ BFF Paris Hilton lost her beachfront property in Malibu. While this was not her primary residence, she still detailed the pain of witnessing the destruction firsthand in a lengthy Instagram post after explaining that she watched her home burn down on live TV on Wednesday night.

“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Paris wrote in the caption of a video detailing the destruction. “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”

Paris Hilton Escaped The Blaze With Her Husband and Two Children

Although the “Stars Are Blind” singer escaped the blaze with her husband Carter Reum, her son Phoenix, and her daughter London, she is still heartbroken by the loss of the home, where she made memories with her two young children.

“This house wasn’t just a place to live— It was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family,” she explained. “It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words.”

“What breaks my heart even more is knowing that this isn’t just my story. So many people have lost everything. It’s not just walls and roofs—it’s the memories that made those houses homes,” she continued. “It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives.”

Paris Hilton’s Dogs Are Safe

In her Instagram Stories, the DJ shared several videos of her evacuating as she went to stay in a hotel. In addition to showing the fires burning in the distance, she also showed a video of her dogs in the backseat. Another video showed her dogs bouncing around the car with nervous energy as the family stopped briefly at a gas station.

“And yet, in this pain, I know I’m incredibly lucky. My loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe. That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have. And beyond grateful to all the the fire fighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires,” Paris added.

Paris Hilton Thanks Fans For Sending Thoughts And Prayers

After thanking first responders for their service, Paris wrote, “To everyone who has sent love, prayers, and kindness—you’ve reminded me that even in the ashes, there is still beauty in this world. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart.”

“And to everyone going through this pain, please know you’re not alone. We’re in this together. We will rebuild, we will heal, and we will rise stronger than before,” she continued. “Let this be a reminder to hold your loved ones close. Cherish the moments. Life can change in an instant, and it’s the love we share that truly matters. I’m sending all my love to everyone who is hurting right now.”
