Luck smiles at the filmmaker as his all white expansive, wooded mansion still stands tall while the Los Angeles fire continues causing damage to surrounding properties.

Hanks' home is not the only property to survive the fire; his colleague Steven Spielberg's home is also intact and standing. According to TMZ, photos and video obtained from the fire site showed Hanks' cliffside mansion and his colleagues' mansion braving the heat.

The Palisades Fire is the biggest wildfire currently ravaging Los Angeles. Since it broke out on Tuesday night, it has spread to more than 17 thousand acres. Since the outbreak, numerous celebrities have been forced to leave their homes behind and scamper away for safety.

In a report by The Blast, the comedian's Palisades mansion is one of his numerous estate portfolios with homes in Malibu, California, Sun Valley, Idaho, and Greece.

However, the white wooded beauty is his primary residence, and he copped it for a whopping $26 million in 2010, making it one of the area's most expensive real estate deals at that time.

The mansion, which was reportedly built in 1996, was previously home to Hollywood producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. Hanks' property boasted an enormous 14,513 square feet, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three stories.

Hanks' Pacific Palisades home also features a custom wine cellar, a front yard with a large tree-lined motor court planted in the ground, and a circular guest parking area. It also has a naturally fitted cliffside swimming pool and a deck area for relaxation and events.

At this point, Hanks' mansion is a cat with nine lives. Less than six months ago, a group of home invaders raided the area and broke into the actor's estate.

The intruders accessed the home through their guest house while he and his wife, Rita Wilson, were out of time. The thieves carried out their dangerous mission by smashing the glass at their guest house, but they could not access the main building.

However, it was unclear if anything was stolen from the guest house, as the police could not access the home to inspect the space and properly estimate what was missing.

Insiders close to the incident claimed the burglary happened in broad daylight, and the actor and his wife were not necessarily the target of the attack. Instead, the sources explained that the burglary seemed to be the work of one of the many crews in the area breaking into homes.

While no arrests were made after Hanks' home invasion, the incident offered a clearer picture of the growing burglary in the area. Things reportedly got as bad as the thieves physically attacking their victims by trying them up indoors while they carried on their evil deeds.

Celebrities like Bhad Bhabie, Sarah Hyland, and Marlon Wayans, among others, got robbed last. Reality star Kyle Richards' daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, also had her home broken into last April.

Like Hanks', Aldjufrie's home attack happened in broad daylight as the thieves entered her home by smashing her door and disconnecting her Wi-Fi connection around 1 p.m.

The burglars allegedly tampered with the Wi-Fi to scramble the workings of the surveillance camera on the property and cover their tracks.

In a similar fate with the actor,  Aldjufrie was also unavailable at the scene of the incident but was later spotted discussing it with the police alongside her mother.
