Kim Kardashian's $70M Malibu Mansion At Risk As Raging Wildfires Tear Through Los Angeles

A wildfire along Malibu's Pacific Coast Highway has destroyed over 1,000 structures and is now threatening properties, including Kim Kardashian's oceanside estate.

The update on Kim Kardashian's state comes after wildfires destroyed the majority of Pacific Palisades, an area filled with notable figures, including stars such as Ben Affleck.

According to the U.S. Sun, a devastating wildfire along Malibu's Pacific Coast Highway has left several properties in ashes, and Kardashian's lavish $70M property is located along the same stretch.

The blaze, fueled by the Olivas and Palisades fires, has engulfed over 5,000 acres, destroying more than 1,000 structures across Malibu and Pacific Palisades, with zero containment so far.

Smoke has blanketed the area, prompting road closures and forcing some residents to abandon their vehicles.

Kardashian and her family primarily reside in Hidden Hills, just north of the evacuation zone. While their property is not currently under evacuation orders, authorities have urged residents to remain alert and prepared to leave at a moment's notice.

Social media users have reportedly described the Pacific Coast Highway as a "hellscape" as conditions worsen and maps are continuously updated.

In 2022, Kardashian purchased her breathtaking three-acre estate, investing heavily in renovations over the past two years.

Kardashian's home, which was formerly owned by supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, exudes luxury and exclusivity.

The home spans over 5,000 square feet and has four spacious bedrooms and six bathrooms. Praised as a "one-of-a-kind compound," the property had never hit the open market until Crawford undertook its transformation.

The estate offers pristine, landscaped grounds with sweeping ocean vistas and private beach access. A long, scenic driveway winds past a tennis court, leading to the two-story residence.

The expansive master suite features floor-to-ceiling beach views, a cozy fireplace, and luxurious spa-like bathrooms.

Several bedrooms include private entrances, and the property also boasts a three-car garage and ample guest parking. The outdoor space is designed for relaxation and entertaining, complete with an inground pool, hot tub, shaded lounge area, and patio.

Experts have also forecasted that the worst is yet to come, as increasing winds have exacerbated the wildfire.

"This event is not only not over, but it is just getting started and will get significantly worse before it gets better," UCLA climate scientist Daniel Swain shared in a briefing per the LA Times.

He also shared that the strongest and most widespread winds are yet to come, and the situation could worsen further due to the low humidity in the area.

These winds have forced crews to ground firefighting aircraft that had been deploying water onto the blazes, as the winds disperse the water or retardant before it can effectively reach the fire.

The winds are also expected to reach as high as 60 mph through Thursday, which could have further devastating effects.

Over 30,000 residents in the area have already been evacuated amid the disaster, while scores of businesses and homes have been burned.

Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that Kardashian is quietly dating someone new but is keeping the relationship "under wraps."

This new romance is her first since she parted ways with Odell Beckham Jr. in April following their eight-month relationship.

"She's said the next person she dates will be someone who isn't famous," the insider revealed.

Since splitting from Beckham Jr., Kardashian has focused heavily on personal growth and career ambitions.

"Kim became way more involved in her company [Skims] and put a ton of effort into her recent launches," the source shared.

Despite the demands of raising her four children, North 11, Saint 10, Chicago 6, and Psalm 5, Kardashian has thrived in both motherhood and business.

"She [became] empowered by staying single for so long," the source added.

However, the insider noted that while Kardashian is open to love, her primary focus is advancing her career, particularly law and acting.

"Kim is planning to spend the next year focusing on preparing for the bar exam," the source shared, noting that she is "very excited" for her new role in Ryan Murphy's "All's Fair."

"Kim's having fun with her acting roles right now," they said.

In the legal drama, Kardashian will portray a divorce attorney, blending her passion for law with her presence in entertainment.

The Hulu series features an ensemble cast including Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor, Matthew Noszka, and Ed O'Neill.

Alongside starring, Kardashian will serve as executive producer, working with Murphy and her mother, Kris Jenner.
