Hollywood star Anna Faris is facing heartbreaking loss as her $5 million Pacific Palisades mansion has been reduced to ashes in the devastating California wildfires. The fires, which have already consumed over 5,000 acres, continue to ravage Los Angeles County, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
Since Tuesday, multiple wildfires have swept across the region, claiming at least two lives and displacing thousands of residents. As of Wednesday, the fires remained 0% contained, and the full extent of the damage is still unknown. Over 1,000 structures have been destroyed, with insurance experts urging homeowners to take steps to ensure their claims are processed fairly and fully reimbursed.
For Anna Faris, the damage is devastatingly clear: her home is gone.
Anna Farris' Home Lost To The Flames
New images of Faris' 4,000-square-foot mansion, which she purchased in 2019 for nearly $5 million, show it charred down to its foundation. Daily Mail reported that every wall of the once-luxurious estate has been reduced to ashes, with only the faint outline of her swimming pool remaining—a stark reminder of what once was.
While mature trees surrounding the property still stand, their leaves have been scorched away by the intense heat. The swimming pool, now empty, appears to have lost its water to evaporation during the blaze. Notably, no vehicles were seen on the property, suggesting it had been fully evacuated before the fire descended on the neighborhood.
Farris purchased her Pacific Palisades mansion in an off-market deal back in 2019. The acquisition came shortly after her split from "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt, who recently spoke out about the wildfires on social media.
A Look At Anna Faris' Pacific Palisades Home
According to Architectural Digest, the home was originally built as a spec house before undergoing a transformation into a sustainable, LEED-certified property. It boasted solar-powered utilities, an advanced water filtration and recycling system, and a garage equipped with a Tesla charger. The eco-conscious design seamlessly blended luxury with responsibility, setting a new standard for contemporary living.
The two-story home featured a sleek white exterior accented with natural wood and towering floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interior with natural light. Privacy was ensured by tall hedges enveloping the property, creating a serene escape from the bustling city.
Anna Faris Had A Spa-Inspired Bathroom And A Cozy Fireplace
A bamboo-lined walkway lead to the entryway, where the home split into two distinct wings. To the right, an expansive open floor plan that included a living area with a fireplace, an elegant dining space, and an eat-in kitchen outfitted with high-end Gaggenau appliances sat. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the space, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery.
On the main floor, there was a guest room and a dedicated housekeeping area. Upstairs, the home boasted three en suite bedrooms, some with private terraces, and a luxurious master suite. The master wing was a sanctuary unto itself, complete with a sitting area, built-in bed frame, private terrace, a spa-inspired bathroom with a soaking tub, and a cozy fireplace.
The Backyard Was An Outdoor Oasis
Despite a modest backyard footprint, the outdoor space was thoughtfully designed for maximum functionality and relaxation. A wood deck surrounded the sparkling swimming pool and spa, offering ample space for sunbathing and lounging on built-in benches. An outdoor dining area, anchored by a fireplace, served as the perfect spot for entertaining guests under the stars.
Interestingly, while Faris' side of the street boasted this contemporary retreat, homes directly across remained untouched, with lush lawns and preserved foliage once standing in stark contrast to the modern oasis she called home.
Anna Faris' Pacific Palisades property wass not just a house—it was a statement. A fusion of sustainability, luxury, and style, it reflects the actress' fresh start and her commitment to thoughtful, modern living. Whether basking in the sun by the pool or enjoying the tranquil interiors, it's clear that Faris crafted her perfect sanctuary.
It is unclear if she will rebuild the home in the same area once Pacific Palisades is rebuilt. She has yet to comment on the devastating incident.
The California Wildfires Have Left Behind A Tremendous Amount Of Damage
At least two people have tragically lost their lives as fast-moving wildfires continue to devastate the Los Angeles area, forcing mandatory evacuations for more than 80,000 residents.
The Palisades Fire, which has consumed over 5,000 acres, is spreading rapidly through the scenic Pacific Palisades neighborhood, nestled between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Meanwhile, the Eaton Fire, which ignited around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, has scorched 2,227 acres in the Pasadena and Altadena regions. Further north, the Hurst Fire erupted around 10:30 p.m. in Sylmar, near San Fernando, and has already consumed 500 acres.
California fire officials attribute the rapid spread of these blazes to a dangerous mix of dry conditions and powerful winds, which continue to fan the flames and complicate containment efforts.
