Farris purchased her Pacific Palisades mansion in an off-market deal back in 2019. The acquisition came shortly after her split from "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt, who recently spoke out about the wildfires on social media. 

According to Architectural Digest, the home was originally built as a spec house before undergoing a transformation into a sustainable, LEED-certified property. It boasted solar-powered utilities, an advanced water filtration and recycling system, and a garage equipped with a Tesla charger. The eco-conscious design seamlessly blended luxury with responsibility, setting a new standard for contemporary living.

The two-story home featured a sleek white exterior accented with natural wood and towering floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interior with natural light. Privacy was ensured by tall hedges enveloping the property, creating a serene escape from the bustling city.

A bamboo-lined walkway lead to the entryway, where the home split into two distinct wings. To the right, an expansive open floor plan that included a living area with a fireplace, an elegant dining space, and an eat-in kitchen outfitted with high-end Gaggenau appliances sat. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the space, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery.

On the main floor, there was a guest room and a dedicated housekeeping area. Upstairs, the home boasted three en suite bedrooms, some with private terraces, and a luxurious master suite. The master wing was a sanctuary unto itself, complete with a sitting area, built-in bed frame, private terrace, a spa-inspired bathroom with a soaking tub, and a cozy fireplace.

Interestingly, while Faris' side of the street boasted this contemporary retreat, homes directly across remained untouched, with lush lawns and preserved foliage once standing in stark contrast to the modern oasis she called home.

The Palisades Fire, which has consumed over 5,000 acres, is spreading rapidly through the scenic Pacific Palisades neighborhood, nestled between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Meanwhile, the Eaton Fire, which ignited around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, has scorched 2,227 acres in the Pasadena and Altadena regions. Further north, the Hurst Fire erupted around 10:30 p.m. in Sylmar, near San Fernando, and has already consumed 500 acres.

California fire officials attribute the rapid spread of these blazes to a dangerous mix of dry conditions and powerful winds, which continue to fan the flames and complicate containment efforts.
