James Woods Shares Terrifying Scenes From Pacific Palisades Wildfire As He Evacuates Celeb-Heavy Area

Hollywood actor James Woods has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share shocking scenes from the ongoing wildfire currently ravaging the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
The actor, who revealed that he and his family have evacuated the area, shared photos and videos capturing the disaster.
According to reports, most of the Pacific Palisades area is currently under evacuation orders as firefighters struggle to control the inferno.

Woods and his family are safely away from the ongoing disaster in Los Angeles, where wildfires are raging throughout the Pacific Palisades.
The actor shared a scary video of some homes caught in the blaze while sharing that he is far away from the area.
"To all the wonderful people who've reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned. Just letting you know that we were able to evacuate successfully."
He added, "I do not know at this moment if our home is still standing, but sadly houses on our little street are not."

In another post, Woods revealed that he had just been contacted that his neighbor's home was on fire. However, he shared that the family was also away.
However, this like gave the actor a hint that his own home might be next to get hit by the wildfire.
"Just been informed our next-door neighbor's house is on fire. Fortunately, they were safely evacuated," Woods noted.

In more posts from the shocking incident, Woods took the opportunity to highlight the impact of the LA fire and police departments in stalling the ongoing inferno.
The actor noted that the crew was doing a great job controlling the wildfire, emphasizing that he could not speak "more highly" of the brave men and women.
"We were blessed to have LA fire and police depts doing their jobs so well," Woods said.

In another update amid the wildfires, Woods revealed that his home in the area has sprinklers that can be managed remotely.
The actor also shared his hopes that the safety measures he and his family took, specifically "bush clearance," would help prevent the disaster from worsening.
He wrote on X: "We cleared and built pathways on our hillside with sprinkler systems that can be remotely managed. We also did brush clearance per local fire prevention mandates."
Woods added, "I’m hoping it has done some good. It’s hard to beat the winds this time of year, though, if someone is careless."

After several posts about the incident, Woods shared a heartbreaking update with his followers on X, confirming that the wildfire had set off all the fire alarms in his home.
He said, "All the smoke detectors are going off in our house and transmitting to our iPhones. I couldn’t believe our lovely little home in the hills held on this long. It feels like losing a loved one."
In a follow-up post, the actor shared, "I took this last night from our beautiful little home in the Palisades. Now, all the fire alarms are going off at once remotely. It tests your soul, losing everything at once, I must say."
