Kennedy's battle with alcohol has been well-documented on "Vanderpump Rules."

“Letting go of drinking was the best decision I ever made and I’m going strong. I don’t miss the booze …… I don’t miss the feeling …. I’m so grateful for everything now and life has become more beautiful in many ways,” Kennedy captioned an Instagram post in July 2020. “Thank you to my rock @raquelleviss for getting me here I couldn’t of done this without you my love. and thank you all for the support this past year.”

After their engagement ended, Kennedy admitted to relapsing but recommitted to sobriety after meeting Lewber.

However, the recent arrest has cast a shadow over Kennedy's progress. According to police records, the woman involved reportedly told authorities that Kennedy had "lifted her up and thrown her to the ground." Following his arrest, Kennedy was released on $20,000 bail, and his legal team issued a statement to Us Weekly:

"We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James. We understand that there were no injuries, and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges."

I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time."

A source close to the couple later revealed to Us Weekly that the pair is currently taking space from each other. "James is trying to win everything back, including Ally. If he doesn’t stay sober, he knows he has a lot to lose."

Other Allegations Surface

In a shocking turn of events, sources have revealed disturbing allegations surrounding the "Vanderpump Rules" star. According to insiders, a whistleblower alerted showrunners about the abuse allegations against the controversial Bravolebrity in the fall of 2023.

The whistleblower, reportedly a production insider, took their concerns directly to Evolution Media, the production company behind the hit Bravo show. Their report included an extensive list of claims about Kennedy, many of which had been whispered about behind the scenes, vaguely referenced during tapings, or hinted at publicly.

Among the most serious allegations were claims that Kennedy had been physically abusive toward multiple women he had been romantically involved with. Documents reportedly obtained by Page Six indicate that Bravo responded to these accusations by hiring an independent attorney to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

However, the whistleblower expressed shock and dismay when Kennedy made a public appearance at BravoCon amid the ongoing investigation. According to sources, the production insider was horrified by Kennedy's seemingly unbothered demeanor and was left feeling disillusioned by the event organizers' decision to spotlight him.

For the whistleblower, these actions undermined the gravity of the allegations and left them feeling their concerns were being swept under the rug. Adding to their frustration, the outcome of Bravo's investigation into Kennedy remains unclear, with no formal updates or transparency from the network.

In a stunning follow-up move, Bravo announced the firing of the entire "Vanderpump Rules" cast in November. This decision came just weeks before Kennedy was arrested for allegedly attacking his girlfriend, Lewber.
