Hulk Hogan didn’t exactly receive a hero’s welcome at Netflix’s "Monday Night RAW" event in Los Angeles last night. Instead, the WWE legend was met with a chorus of boos from a packed crowd at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, as he attempted to deliver a speech.

Making his signature grand entrance to the iconic tune of "Real American," Hogan strutted into the arena alongside longtime associate Jimmy Hart.

The crowd, however, was quick to voice their disapproval, showering Hulk Hogan with mockery before he could even get through his opening remarks.

Sporting his signature black shades and a T-shirt emblazoned with his beer brand’s logo, Hogan seemed momentarily perplexed by the crowd’s hostility. Still, he continued reminiscing about his iconic career, referencing legendary wrestling figures like Macho Man Randy Savage and André the Giant. Yet, the crowd’s boos persisted.

“In the past, I’ve had a whole bunch of partners down the line,” Hogan said. “I had incredible partners, like the Macho Man Randy Savage. I’ve had giant-sized partners like Andre the Giant."

Despite the chilly reception, Hogan pushed forward with his speech, plugging his Real American Beer brand and celebrating WWE's partnership with Netflix. Hogan’s strained relationship with the WWE fanbase has been well-documented.

Back in 2015, Hogan was fired from WWE after leaked audio from 2007 revealed him using racial slurs during a private phone conversation concerning his daughter Brooke’s relationship with a Black man. The scandal resulted in his removal from the WWE Hall of Fame, though he was reinstated in 2018 after issuing a public apology.

Despite his attempts at redemption, Hogan has remained a polarizing figure in the wrestling community, with many fans unwilling to overlook his past transgressions.

Hogan, draped in his trademark red bandanna with dark sunglasses perched atop his head, didn't hold back in his praise for Trump. "As an entertainer, I try to stay out of politics," Hogan began, his deep voice commanding the room. "But after everything that's happened to our country over the past four years, and everything that happened last weekend, I can no longer stay silent."

The former WWE superstar called Trump his "hero" and expressed confidence in the former president's ability to unify the country. "Donald Trump will bring America back together, one real American at a time," Hogan declared, referencing his iconic wrestling anthem, "Real American."

In a candid interview with Fox News before taking the stage at a recent event, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan opened up about why he felt compelled to break his silence on political issues. His decision came in the wake of the assassination attempt on former U.S. President Trump last year in Pennsylvania.

"I got tired of remaining silent," Hogan said. "I sat back and watched the borders collapse, I watched the economy collapse, I watched the price of gas, the price of food. Everything just does an upside-down flip."

"And when they took a shot at my hero, Donald Trump, I realized that I couldn’t be silent anymore," he continued. "I had to step up. I had to be a real American, just like all these real Americans here and Donald Trump. You know, I have a voice, too, and I want people to know. It’s time to talk, it’s time not to be silent anymore."
