Taylor Swift Parties With Backup Singers On 'Eras Tour' Break

Two photos shared by backup singer Jeslyn Gorman show Taylor Swift having the time of her life while on a break from “The Eras Tour.” The fifth photo in the carousel shows the “Cruel Summer” singer lounging on a boat in the ocean wearing a two-piece bathing suit, sunglasses, and a hat. Her backup singers are all gathered around her as they soak up the sun.

The next photo comes a little later in the carousel and features Swift and her backup dancers all gathered together in what appears to be a doorway. For this, the “All Too Well” singer is wearing what appears to be a black floral dress along with black heeled shoes. Her other backup dancers are also wearing dresses and other formalwear as if the group is getting ready to go out to dinner or simply enjoy a night out on the town.

In the lyrics of “The 1” – her 2020 tune off her pandemic-era album “Folklore,” Swift sings, “We were something, don't you think so? Rosé flowing with your chosen family.” Gorman mentions her “chosen family” while sharing “some things [she has] learned in 2024,” as she detailed in the caption of her post.

“Joy is medicine. Grace is a beautiful gift that we don’t give ourselves enough of. Don’t sweat the small stuff, you have a life to enjoy. Generosity not only lifts someone else up, but it magically also lifts you up.

We are capable of way more than we can imagine. Strength and resilience is the result of discomfort and hard work,” she wrote, adding, “My chosen family is pretty freaking awesome.”

After teasing how TikTok is “useful for travel plans,” she also works in another Swift lyric, saying that she is “loved beyond my wildest dreams.”

“Travel is a spiritual experience, you learn a lot about yourself. Having a safe vulnerable space to express yourself is a privilege. You can’t fix everything.. and that’s okay. Every day is a new opportunity to be your best self, to choose grace, to choose joy, to choose love,” she concluded. “To more love in 2025.”

I will never take that kind of love for granted,” she continued, going on to write, “You’ve given so much of yourself this year, I hope today you get to just receive all the love and that it feels like the biggest hug ever possible. I also hope it involves you putting your poor feet up.”

She ended the post by writing, “Happy Birthday, my sweet friend @taylorswift. I love you to Karma and back,” working in yet another Swift lyric.

Jeslyn Gorman Is 'Blessed' To Have Been A Part Of 'The Eras Tour'

Now that The Eras Tour is all said and done, Gorman looked back fondly on her memories in a post dated December 21. The video showed different highlights from the record-breaking tour, all set to her song “New Year’s Day.”

After admitting that it was “paralyzing and overwhelming” trying to explain what the tour meant to her, she admitted that she was “trying [her] best to find the words through tears.”

“This experience has been more than just a tour for me, more than just a show,” she wrote. “These people that I get to call family, the love that we feel on and off stage… ‘we’ will be the only ‘we’ that will ever have been on this beautiful, exhausting, record breaking, joy filled, tour of a lifetime.”
