Chanel West Coast Told Braless New Year Minidress Is 'Too Much'

Chanel West Coast is stunning in her New Year's minidress, although she did raise a few eyebrows while showcasing her outfit on Instagram today. The TV star, 36, kept it girly and sexy in a teeny black dress to welcome 2025, and she made sure fans got a 360-degree view as she modeled it.

Posting early on January 1, Chanel showed off her post-baby curves in a strapless, braless number, going leggy as she rocked high heels. The West Coast Hustle star also earned herself some cash from the post, one name-dropping the Fashion Nova brand she's signed to.

Scroll for the video. Modeling a crushed velvet, thigh-skimming dress with a low neckline, Chanel partied the night away, pouting as she spun around to show off her look.

Displaying her hourglass waistline and snapback body, the rapper rocked ruched fabrics and opera below gloves, looking glitzy and glam while wearing her hair slightly tied back. Chanel also winked at the camera, blowing fans a kiss as she flaunted her red-painted lips. Meanwhile, a matching purse added pops of white as the "No Plans" hitmaker completed her look with hoop earrings.

In a caption, Chanel wrote: "Happy New Year. Outfit @fashionnova." The post has earned over 4,000 likes in nine hours, with a mix of positive and negative reviews. While one fan dubbed Chanel the hottest woman "ever," another said: "Too much."

Chanel was also told: "The dress isn't working for you," by a fan who mocked her with a laugh-cry-face emoji. Fortunately, however, plenty of users came in to call Chanel "beautiful" as they showered her with love.

Chanel West Coast founded Coasty Swim in the final months of pregnancy back in 2022. In October of last year, she shared this poolside shot, shouting out her Neapolitan two-piece while enjoying some Miami sunshine.

In a caption, she wrote: "Finally got a lil sun in Miami…time to #CoolOff.  Get the Textured Bikini in Neapolitan at coastyswim.com." West Coast joins stars including supermodel Emily Ratajkowski and mogul Kim Kardashian in retailing swimwear.

Upping the girly vibes in another Coasty Swim promo last fall, Chanel West Coast modeled this frilly, candy-pink bikini, one dubbed a "Princess" one in her caption. The photo was taken during Chanel's luxurious Mexico vacation.
