While the Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed in the autopsy result that Garrison died from a gunshot wound to the head, another factor played a major role leading up to that point.
According to the postmortem results, the 25-year-old's tragic death was influenced by ethanol intoxication, also known as alcohol poisoning. Reports from his blood work confirmed that his alcohol level was .307% based on his iliac blood analysis and .370% based on his vitreous analysis.
The figures recorded from the feedback exceed the accepted legal limit in the U.S., which is .08%, while anything above .40% is considered potentially fatal. Traces of caffeine were also found in Garrison's system at the time of his death.
Sending all the strength to Janelle Brown as she deals with his heart-wrenching loss!
