Kristin Cavallari Claims Co-parenting With Jay Cutler Is 'Really Hard'

Kristin Cavallari has opened up about her difficulties while co-parenting with her ex-husband, Jay Cutler.

The reality TV star admitted that their shared parenting journey has been bumpy, with few positives.

Cavallari also opened up about her love life, revealing that she is dating someone new, though she didn't reveal his identity.

On Monday's episode of Bunnie XO's "Dumb Blonde" podcast, she shared details about her co-parenting journey with Cutler, revealing that the former NFL star has brought no consistency to their dynamic.

Cavallari also admitted, per Page Six, "It's really hard. It has not been easy, to say the least."

Despite the difficulties, Cavallari recalled the only joyous moment in her and Cutler's "bumpy" co-parenting journey.

She said, "We sat together at a basketball game earlier in the year, and I was like, 'Holy f*ck, this is the best thing that's ever happened. Jesus Christ, we made it. We can sit next to each other. And we haven't sat together since, so I don't f*cking know. What the f*ck?"

The 37-year-old television personality shares three kids, Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9, with Cutler, with whom she was married from 2013 to 2022. However, she doesn't think they would spend holidays with their kids in the future.

Cavallari bemoaned the absence of a family unit for the Christmas holidays, though she doesn't want Cutler back in her life.

She explained, "Coming from divorced parents, the last thing I ever wanted was a divorce. I won't lie to you. That still will creep up once in a while. ...It just sucks that we're not together as a family."

During the episode, the mother of three, who previously vowed that she wouldn't talk about Cutler, shared details about their breakup.

She said she doesn't "regret" anything about their "toxic" romance because "so much good" came out of it. However, she admitted to "repeating a pattern" with her dad when she started dating Cutler.

Cavallari called her dad, who she cut ties with last year after he crossed a line with her kids, a "narcissist." She likened Cutler to her father, saying, "That's what you do. I ended up marrying my dad."

The Uncommon James founder also addressed previous rumors of Cutler's affair with her friend and "Very Cavallari" co-star, Kelly Henderson.

Cavallari said of the rumors, "I really don't think anything happened. F*ck, I don't know, to be honest with you. Do I know for sure? No."

She added, "Jay used to trash her, which I now sort of think if a guy is thrashing a girl, there is probably something going on. When you're dealing with a pathological liar, it's hard to know what the f*cking truth is."

Cavallari admitted that there were things from her marriage to Cutler that she would never know. Hence, she decided to let them go. She concluded, "I'm over it now."

The "Laguna Beach" alum also shared some positive news amid her co-parenting woes, revealing that she is in a relationship.

She told Bunnie Xo, per Page Six, "I'm kinda dating someone else now! I'm not going to say who it is and it's really new."

Cavallari hinted that her new man is a "retired athlete" and admitted that she loves dating athletes.

She confessed, "They [athletes] love me! I'm a f*cking WAG through and through."

Cavallari shared that her new boo ticked all the boxes and further teased that he is in his 40s and has children from a previous relationship.

She revealed, "F*ck, this is what I've been needing, so we will see! He's coming to stay with me in a couple of days. He retired a couple of years ago, and he's got so much depth, and I just love talking to him."

Cavallari concluded by stating that she and her mystery man "connect on so many different levels."

After Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's marriage ended, he moved on with fiancée Samantha Robertson. Meanwhile, Cavallari reportedly dated country musician Morgan Wallen and was recently linked to Mark Estes.

During her appearance on the podcast, she spoke about Wallen, revealing that he was a "great f*ck buddy" and "good in bed."

Cavallari's new relationship comes about three months after she confirmed she had split from Estes, 24.

According to reports, the pair broke up because they were not on the same page regarding their long-term goals. The 13-year age gap also played a role in their split.

While Estes wanted to start a family, Cavallari, being a mom of three, was content with her life and family.
