At the end of the day, Brandi Glanville prioritizes family over everything, especially during this festive season.
The reality star bares her mind after critics raised eyebrows over her decision to spend the holiday with her kids and ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian finalized their divorce in 2010 after news broke that her former husband had an affair with a co-star in 2008.
Brandi Glanville Did Not Want Her Kids Having Two Separate Holidays
The Bravo legend explained on her "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered" Podcast that, despite their interesting history, she decided to spend the holidays with Cibrian and his wife, LeAnn Rimes, out of necessity.
She lashed at her critics, who preferred a better arrangement that she chose to go where she felt loved the most for the holidays.
"What was I gonna do? Stay over here in my house, be lonely during Christmas, or go be with, like, my beloved children and my in-laws, who I'm obsessed with and love?" the TV star quipped.
Glanville noted that she prioritizes her children's well-being over public opinion while respecting herself and her boundaries.
"Certain times, I actually pat myself on the back and [say], like, 'Oh, my girl. You're doing this for your boys,'" disclosed the reality star, as she admitted, "Having two separate holidays fâs kids up."

Although Glanville later admitted on the podcast that hanging out with Cibrian and his wife for Christmas sounded strange, it did not deter her from having a great time. She described their time together for the holidays as "lovely," adding:
"I can step in there and not give a fâ as long as everyone's happy and everyone's in one place and the kids are happy and we're having a good time and the food is good."
The mom of two had previously shared a family portrait of the squad the day after Christmas, proof that she indeed had fun with her baby daddy and his wife.
"Happy Christmas not my favorite look for my face," the model began, adding: "but I felt ALL the love from my modern family," Glanville wrote. She added, "Thanks Eddie & @leannrimes @masoncibrian @jakecibrian & all of the friends & grandparent."

Glanville and Cibrian have come a long way since their messy divorce. The former couple were married from 2001 to 2009, after getting engaged on New Year's Eve, 1999.
US Weekly noted that they welcomed Mason and Jake in 2003 and 2007, respectively, and Glanville has not stopped gushing about her sons and motherhood ever since.
Tragedy struck two years after Jake's arrival in 2009 when news broke that the actor was having an affair with Rimes, who was his co-star for "Northern Lights." A displeased Glanville filed for divorce 5 months later and finalized the process in 2010.
The end of their marriage spelled a new beginning for the new couple Cibrian and Rimes, who took things a step further with the actor proposing in 2010 and tying the knot in April 2011 in Los Angeles.
In an interview in 2011, Glanville recalled slashing Cibrian's motorcycle tires when she first found out about his affair. She also accused Rimes of feeling zero remorse about destroying her marriage.
Seven years later, in 2018, the Bravo star and Rimes finally resolved all their issues and decided to continue as one big happy family.

Before linking up with the fam for the holidays, Glanville spent a considerable time on social media, trading blame for those involved in her facial deformity.
As shared by The Blast earlier in the month, the star urged fans to keep her in their prayers after she uploaded an image of herself with a badly swollen face on her Instagram story.
The reality star also dropped a statement explaining her physical condition on her X account. "What happened? I wish I knew I've been in & out of the hospital this past year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out," the TV star began.
She discussed various diagnoses that have been made on her worrisome appearance, stating: "Some Dr.'s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it's stress-induced edema. I personally say it's Bravo."
The December post comes 5 months after she called out Bravo in July for causing her health woes. In her words: "This is why I'm miserable and depressed. I'm not even gonna share the picture of when it sinks in. Stress will kill you."
She urged her fans to care for themselves and criticized Bravo for making her work impossible due to her appearance.

The 52-year-old backed up her claims with a promise to pursue legal steps against Bravo and get justice for herself.
She disclosed her intentions to file a lawsuit against the network in July for using her as their "fall guy" and causing her extreme emotional stress with their shady actions.
Glanville is not new to suing those who have wronged her. She previously sued Andy Cohen, the show's executive producer and talk show host.
The reality star noted that the stress experienced on the show left a dent in her health, and she now suffers from "uncontrollable stress-induced angioedema" and a terrible financial crisis.
"I haven't worked for a year & half. I'm [too] depressed to do my podcast & [too] swollen [for] cameo or OF. I'M BEING USED AS A FALL GUY," the reality star noted. She also declared she has enough valid evidence to fight the case, but her legal team has advised against releasing it.
One thing is for sure â Brandi Glanville is particular about her happiness!
