While Tatum, born via surrogate in August 2022, recovered in time to celebrate the holiday, True remained unwell, preventing her from fully participating in the family festivities.

Khloé, who welcomed True in April 2018, described the experience as "really scary" and "horrible," especially when her daughter’s fever spiked to concerning levels. Despite being under the weather, True managed to make an appearance at the family’s annual Christmas gathering, though Khloé noted that her daughter spent part of the day resting in a separate room.

In her heartfelt message, Khloé told her 305 million followers, “It was a great one for sure, but different.” She went on to explain that they postponed opening Santa’s presents until the day after Christmas because True simply “wasn’t in the mood yesterday.”

"Poor thing, that’s when you know your kid is sick—when Santa toys don’t even excite them," the reality television star added.

Khloé concluded her Christmas reflections with gratitude, writing, “I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I wasn’t really able to do so yesterday, [I was] quite busy with True and then wanting to be present in the moment with everyone.”

However, by Friday, December 27, Khloé shared that True was still not feeling well. Posting a photo of her daughter curled up under a blanket with her eyes closed, Khloé wrote, “She’s never been sick for this long ever. I feel so badly for her. I pray everyone stays healthy! The following day, December 28, Khloé appeared to reference True’s ongoing condition in another Instagram Story. Against a plain white background, she wrote, “Dear God, thank you for keeping my little family safe, healthy and happy.”

"We're really hands-on moms,” she told Variety in 2022. “We are very present and active with our kids. Family comes before everything ... It's just who we are. It's what makes us happy. It's what we work hard for, so we can give them certain luxuries and have certain securities. It literally makes life worth living, having kids."

All About Khloé Kardashian's Daughter True

On April 12, 2018, Khloé welcomed her baby daughter at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with the newborn weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Just four days later, on April 16, the Good American founder took to Instagram to reveal her daughter’s name.

“Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE,” she shared alongside a photo of her home decorated with pink balloons, capturing the joyful moment of welcoming her baby girl. “Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”

In a 2021 interview with Cosmopolitan UK, she emphasized the importance of prioritizing quality time with her daughter, highlighting how essential it is to create meaningful moments together despite a busy schedule.

“If I have a crazy work week with more limited time with True, I clear out my weekend,” she told the outlet. “Some things are non-negotiable for me. I try and take her to every gymnastics class and I schedule things around her schedule—I live and die by a schedule! Every single day, everything is accounted for and that gives me a sense of peace because there are typically no surprises.”
