Peter Thomas will not just walk free out of custody when his 18-month sentence is done; he will still have the law to deal with.

The Bravo star has identified a lengthy list of terms and conditions he must follow when he completes his current jail sentence.

Peter Thomas was sentenced by an attorney of the Western District of North Carolina last week when he pled guilty to tax evasion and debt.

Peter Thomas Ordered To Join A Substance Abuse Testing Program

The reality star's two years supervised release will not be a walk in the park as he was given stringent rules to live by. He was ordered to sign up for a substance abuse testing program during the duration of his supervised release.

TMZ confirmed that Thomas's probation officer, who has the clearance to conduct a search on him if he finds something sinister, will also be keeping an eagle eye on the star.

He was also ordered to abstain from excessive alcohol consumption and desist from purchasing, using, or keeping narcotics and other illicit substances.

Thomas Also Pled Guilty To Owing Trust Fund Taxes

Alongside his sentence, The Blast shared that the star was also ordered to pay the IRS $2.5 million in restitution.

The TV personality also pled guilty this summer to one count of failing to pay trust fund taxes owed by his business for six years, from 2017 to 2023.

Thomas reportedly owed the IRS nearly $650,000 in trust fund taxes on his employees' wages in Charlotte, North Carolina. 

He also allegedly defaulted on more than $2.5 million in employment taxes over six years due to his economic exploits in various states.

The Entrepreneur Urged His Fans & Followers To Learn From His Mistake

Thomas would not let other people suffer his fate, so he used social media to lecture young entrepreneurs on the dangers of tax debt.

He urged aspiring businesspeople to learn from his mistakes and expressed his readiness to face the consequences of his actions. Thomas explained that the bulk of his crime included "consistently withholding taxes for business over 10 years."

The businessman explained that he thought he could right his wrongs by creating a payment plan, but he discovered that "it doesn't work like that." Thomas revealed that he pled guilty to the charges, stating: "I plead guilty. And, with my plea of guilty, I have to sit down for a while."

The 'RHOA' Star Was Picked Up For Driving While Intoxicated In Cobb County

Back in January, the TV star was served multiple charges after local police arrested him for drunk driving.

Thomas also caught additional charges, including driving without a license, not having proof of insurance, failure to maintain lane, expired/no tag, and violation of a traffic control device.

However, he walked home the same day after securing a $3,000 bail bond. Similar to his current situation, he was also given a set of rules to follow upon his release.

According to his booking sheet, a judge decreed he was prohibited from drinking alcohol and ingesting marijuana. The business owner must also make himself available for random drug and alcohol tests at his own cost with no chance to bear firearms.

Peter Thomas Was Arrested 'On The Run' In Miami International Airport

The restaurant owner can do anything but stay out of cuffs and iron bars. He was previously arrested by law enforcement in 2019 on a fugitive warrant. At the time, authorities revealed that he had spent the night in jail after being arrested at Miami International Airport.

He reportedly possessed a warrant issued from Louisiana, where he was accused of writing fraudulent checks. Thomas denied the allegations in an official statement and emphasized that he would be "acquitted from any wrongdoing."

The serial entrepreneur broke into the limelight when he appeared alongside Bailey on the hit Bravo show. Thomas and Bailey were married for seven years before finalizing their divorce in March 2017.
