Patrick Mahomes Reveals Exciting Details About Wife Brittany's Pregnancy

Patrick Mahomes has just shared an exciting update about his growing family.

Already proud parents to 3-year-old Sterling Skye and 2-year-old Bronze, the couple is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their third child.

Before the highly anticipated Christmas Day game, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes sat down with reporter Kay Adams for an interview, in which Mahomes opened up about his personal life, sharing his excitement about welcoming another child with his wife, Brittany Mahomes.

Netflix shared a clip of the interview on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, which is where Patrick revealed that his wife is due to give birth "any day now."

"Brittany says I've been stressing her out too much this season," he added. “So I got to try to not put so much stress on her through these football games."

After the Chiefs victory, Patrick partook in on-camera interview, where he joked that Brittany can go ahead and give birth now after he promised victory. "I told my wife — my pregnant wife — I was gonna get her the No. 1 seed so we can go have that baby,” Patrick quipped. “We got the 1 seed."

In response to Patrick's quote, Brittany shared a heartfelt moment on her Instagram Story, posting a photo of the two of them with the caption, "Always keeping his promises," accompanied by a teary-eyed smiling emoji and a heart emoji.

With Brittany just days away from giving birth, it’s no surprise she chose to stay home and enjoy the Christmas Day game from the comfort of her living room. Surrounded by her other children, she opted for a cozy game day experience, cheering on her husband and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates from the TV sidelines.

“Baking and watching Daddy,” she wrote via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 25.

In the photo, Brittany and her 3-year-old daughter, Sterling, sported matching beige-and-white flannel pajama sets as they baked together in the kitchen. Joining the festive scene were Patrick’s mother, Randi Mahomes, and his younger sister, Mia, creating a warm and cozy family moment ahead of the big game.

While Patrick wasn't home this Christmas, he gave insight into what a typical holiday looks like at the Mahomes house.

“Christmas with the Mahomeses is a lot of chasing kids around,” he told Adams in the Netflix segment. “Santa leaves surprises for the kids. Seeing them grow up and understand what the holidays are all about; I’m making those traditions now. I’m hoping to have some that I’ll have for the rest of my life.”

Brittany and Patrick made this Christmas one to remember, marking their final holiday as a family of four before they welcome their baby girl.
