Consider this an FYI for all Hollywood couples. When your wife goes on radio, TV, a podcast, or whatever it may be and confirms you’re not sleeping together anymore get yourself a good lawyer!
That is exactly what Tori Spelling did to her still husband Dean McDermott. There had been some rumors about the current state of the marriage. Instead of squashing them down, Spelling went on “Jeff Lewis Live“, and threw gasoline on the fire. She’s following Usher’s advice you just go let it burn sometimes!
Most celebrity couples want to keep their personal relationships private. Particularly, when these couples are going through a rough time. Tori Spelling does not subscribe to that theory though.

The rumors about her marriage to Dean McDermott crumbling started because she was spotted not wearing her wedding ring a couple of months back. She arrived with her wedding ring on to Jeff Lewis’ show. That prompted him to ask Spelling a very direct question regarding her marriage. Tori was not in the mood to tip toe around the subject matter!

Jeff Lewis was not messing around he went straight to the point, and asked Spelling,
“What is really going on? You put the wedding ring on. Are things OK?” If that wasn’t personal enough Lewis doubled down and mentioned,
“I feel like the last time you were here things were good, you were having sex, Are you guys sleeping in the same bed? Personal?”
Lewis probably did not suspect what was coming his way. If showed some guts and a little rudeness in asking the question what Spelling showed was a lack of regard for human life.
Spelling actually responded to the very personal question with, “You know what? Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed,”.
When Tori said that the tension in the radio station could be felt all the way to the AirPods that the listeners had on. At this point though, Tori probably realized that she had said a little too much. So she started to overly explain the situation. For example, she mentioned McDermott was sleeping in a room in their house. Good to know he’s not literally sleeping in the dog house!
After her initial comments about her kids sleeping in her bed, she started explaining why that was the case. Apparently, Dean McDermott took a long trip to Canada. It was at this point when Tori’s kids started sleeping with her in her bed. She mentioned on the subject, “Since he left, this is not good you guys, but since he left, he was gone for six months filming in another country, they all stayed with me,”
When he came back there was naturally not enough room in his own bed. It all makes sense. Host Jeff Lewis tried to help Tori out saying, “That sounds healthy. Yeah. Takes co-sleeping to another level.”
To say things are strange at the McDermott-Spelling household may be an understatement. It could be time to start asking friends about a good divorce lawyer, just in case!
