Kelly Dodd just went off on Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who came out as an alcoholic and lesbian on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” Season 15, in a heated post shared on her Instagram page.
Just over 24 hours after Bravo confirmed they would be moving on with the show without both Dodd and Windham-Burke and making room for the return of former cast member Heather Dubrow, Dodd leaked a couple of text messages she received from the mother of seven before blaming her for their firings.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke Tried To Be There For Kelly Dodd
“I hope you’re okay. I know we’ve been through hell and back but I’m here,” Windham-Burke had written in a text to Dodd this week.
“This was your fault. We’d still be on the show if you didn’t make things so dark and ugly and brought all that political ‘woke’ BS,” Dodd replied.
According to Dodd, it was Windham-Burke’s allegations against her and their now-ex-cast members that made it impossible for Bravo to consider renewing their contracts for the upcoming Season 16.
Kelly Dodd Accused Braunwyn Windham-Burke Of Phony Storylines
“Your lies about me, calling me a racist and a homophobe were horribly destructive and your phony storylines didn’t help either,” Dodd continued.
After seeing the critical text message, Windham-Burke sent a second message to Dodd, making it clear that her offer to talk still stands.
“Well I’m still sober and still gay, like I said if you ever want to talk I’m here,” she wrote.
In the caption of her Instagram post, Dodd continued her rant against Windham-Burke, accusing her former cast mate of slamming her on a recent podcast.
Kelly Dodd Claims Braunwyn Windham-Burke Alleged Her Sexuality Led To Her ‘RHOC’ Departure
“I can’t believe this Braunwyn has the audacity to text me!! She went on a podcast. She said she was fired from the show because we all didn’t like her because she’s gay,” Dodd wrote.
According to Dodd, there were plenty of other reasons Windham-Burke was likely not asked back to “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“Not because she’s a horrible person. Not because she treated everyone like shit and made no effort to be friends with us. Not because she went on a press tour and made horrible accusations about us calling all of us homophobes and racist, not because she’s a terrible mother. Not because she’s a horrible person to her husband. The only reason she was fired is because she is gay,” Dodd stated, sarcastically.
Heather Dubrow’s Return To ‘RHOC’ Was Confirmed Amid Kelly Dodd’s Exit
Dodd also told her fans and followers that Windham-Burke was a “f-cking nut job” and “classic narcissist.”
As fans of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” may have heard, Dodd and Windham-Burke were fired along with Elizabeth Vargas earlier this week. And, at the same time their exits were confirmed, Bravo revealed Dubrow would be making a comeback.
