Britney Spears’ conservatorship just received a legal request to terminate the case, but it didn’t come from anyone associated with the pop star.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, a person is asking a court to end Britney’s conservatorship, and is claiming (like many others) she is perfectly capable of handling her own life and finances.
The problem is…in the legal documents, the man doesn’t describe how he is connected to BS, if at all, and it appears he might just be a fan of the singer. As you can imagine, it’s likely this person has no standing in the case, but he is throwing it out there anyways.
Here Are The Details…
Random Person Files Legal Documents Requesting To End Britney Spears’ Conservatorship
The person, who is self-represented, says he is requesting an end to Britney’s conservatorship as an “interest of justice.”
In the request, the person claims, “At the time of appointment, a conservatorship was necessary for the following reasons: Ms. Spears may have been suffering from severe depression at the time of conservatorship, due to life circumstances.”
He continued, “A conservatorship of the person is no longer necessary for the conservatee for the following reasons: Ms. Spears has shown consistently, her ability to take care of her own needs. Feed herself, cloth herself, house herself, pay her bills, and seek medical assistance when needed. Ms. Spears is not a threat to herself or others.”

The legal filing continued, “Wherefore, Petitioner requests an order of this court that the conservatorship of the person of Britney Jean Spears, the conservatee, be terminated.”
Interestingly, Britney is set to address the judge in the case on June 23, 2021, after her attorney claimed she wanted to speak on her own behalf. Many believe the pop star might be starting the process of ending her own conservatorship.
In this case, a judge would have to sign off on any termination of the conservatorship, and we are guessing they will not give a random person the ability to do so. But, as we’ve reported, a large group of #FreeBritney supporters believes the pop star should be released from the case.
At this point, it is all up to the judge. Stay Tuned…
