Miley Cyrus today issued a strict warning. In short, don’t mess with a woman because you never know when she might launch a wildly-successful business. The 28-year-old’s Wednesday Instagram stories, bikini-clad, came with the “Midnight Sky” singer shouting out one woman in particular, with “WAP” rapper Megan Thee Stallion given a giant nod as the former “Hannah Montana” actress ushered in a “Hot Girl Summer.” Posting for her 134 million followers, Miley sent out green bikini energy and one giant #feminism. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. Much like Texan rapper Megan, Miley does not come with a brand, but the singer was referring to the immense success Stallion has with affordable clothing giant Fashion Nova. The “Savage” rapper is fresh from launching her new swim collab with the label, and Miley was all for it today as she snapped herself indoors, in a swirl-print bikini, and sending out a fresh-faced glow.
“My girls got me looking right & tight for this hot girl summmmmer,” she opened.
Throwing in the “Hot Girl Summer” phrase that Megan trademarked in 2019, the daughter to Billy Ray Cyrus continued:
“Be nice to your friends. You never know when they are gonna start bad -ss female owned/ran businesses. It’s been a hot girl summer for like 3 years straight. No breaks @theestallion #ThotGirlSh-t.”
Megan, who joins “WAP” co-star Cardi B in partnering up for Fashion Nova collabs, yesterday debuted her summer swim look in a series of blonde-haired selfies. Keep scrolling for them.
Megan’s new swim line, inspired by ’80s Miami revival, was all over her Instagram yesterday. In a statement, Stallion said: “We worked hard to make sure all the sexiest pieces, for all body types, were in this collection,” adding:“I am so excited to get my hotties ready for summer.”
The Grammy winner, this year bigger than ever with pandemic hit “Savage,” one even remixed by R&B queen Beyonce, has explained her “Hot Girl Summer” phrase. See what she had to say after the selfie.
Speaking of the phrase she coined, Stallion said it’s “just basically about women and men being unapologetically them, just having a good-ass time, hyping up your friends, doing you, not giving a damn about what nobody got to say about it.”
Miley continues to support feminist causes, plus LGBTQ-friendly ones. Her 2014-founded non-profit has been actively supporting LGBTQ youths and under-represented communities. Cyrus is also fresh from rocking her green bikini to showcase her “tramp stamp” tattoo. If you missed it, just scroll.
