During a Q&A session with her fans and followers on her Instagram Story, 32-year-old Cartwright responded to a fan who wanted to know if seeing Taylor, 41, as a father made her love him more.
“Oh my God, absolutely,” Cartwright replied. “Jax is an amazing, amazing father.”

Jax Taylor Couldn’t Wait To Be A Dad
“[Jax] helps me out so much. He is so hands on. He changes diapers. He does everything,” Cartwright gushed of her husband of nearly two years.
“He plays with him nonstop,” Cartwright continued. “We just both love him so much and seeing them together just makes me love Jax even more.”
During past episodes of “Vanderpump Rules,” Taylor had been seen telling his co-stars that he couldn’t wait to become a father and planned to get Cartwright pregnant as soon as they were married.
Brittany Cartwright Chose A Name For Their Son
According to Cartwright, she was the one who ultimately chose the name “Cruz” for her and Taylor’s baby boy.
After another one of her followers asked her who thought of the moniker, Cartwright said she came up with the idea before Taylor.
“I came up with the name Cruz first,” she confirmed.
Cartwright went on to say that while it took her and Taylor some time to come up with a name for a boy, they had a name picked out for a baby girl before learning of Cruz’s gender.

“It took us a while to think of a baby boy’s name,” Cartwright admitted. “We had a little girl’s name picked out before we knew the gender but he just looks like a Cruz. Right?”
Although it took some time to decide on their son’s name, Cartwright now believes that “Cruz” was the “perfect little name for him.”
“So I’m glad we picked it and it stuck,” she added.
Continuing on with her Q&A on her Instagram Story, Cartwright reacted to a third fan who asked her if she and Taylor plan to remain in California.
Brittany Cartwright Is Open To Moving East
Although Cartwright has a lot of appreciation for California and the many opportunities she’s gotten since moving there, she noted that she and Taylor would love to raise a family elsewhere.
“California has been amazing for me. I’ve got to do so many things i never dreamed in a million years I would get to do but I think we would love to have Cruz and our other babies some day grow up around our families, whether that’s in Kentucky or Florida,” she shared.
