Lisa Vanderpump has had tons of success in the world of reality television but her latest reality series, “Vanderpump Dogs” is something she can truly be “proud of.”
During an interview with Hollywood Life earlier this month, Vanderpump, who was previously featured on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and also appears on “Vanderpump Rules,” said her new show is more “emotional” than her past projects.
“It is a very different show in terms of the dynamics,” Vanderpump explained to the outlet.
‘Vanderpump Dogs’ Is More Emotional Than ‘RHOBH’ And ‘Vanderpump Rules’
Although Vanderpump acknowledged that her past and present projects all have their fair share of “good emotional content,” she said that when it comes to “Vanderpump Dogs,” the show, which is currently airing on Peacock, is more “emotional… but in a poignant way”.
“I don’t think there’s any kind of emotional dysfunction” that you’ll see, Vanderpump explained. “It’s all about the dogs. There’s enough complications with the dogs and trying to rehabilitate them and [finding] them the right home, so it’s a lot of feel good factor.”

“But it is very heartwarming and it’s very poignant. It’s an amazing project,” Vanderpump continued.
While Vanderpump said it is “Vanderpump Dogs” that is the most emotional of all her projects, she noted that she does her best to make sure that everything she is involved with is true to herself.
“Everything I do, I want to be authentic and I think you’ve seen with [my other show], ‘Overserved,’ [we’re] cooking and decorating — that’s all us. That’s everything I’m passionate about,” she shared.

According to Vanderpump, she believes “Vanderpump Dogs” is not only a “poignant show,” but also an “emotional show.”
“It’s a happy show. Because I always see the funny side of everything,” Vanderpump explained of the stories that viewers will see.
