Ryan Reynolds is one of Hollywood’s versatile actors. From drama to action to comedy, Reynolds is gold in whatever role he plays. Although, most fans would agree that the 44-year-old excels best at comedic parts.
The Canadian native will once again show off his comedic side in the upcoming film “Free Guy.” The movie is slated for release in August, and Reynolds’ character is a bank teller who suddenly finds himself transported into a video game. In the recently released trailer, Reynolds and his co-star Jodie Comer provide plenty of humor in the action-packed flick, which is already being hyped up by fans.
From Acting To Businessman
Aside from his talent as an actor, Reynolds is also a whiz when it comes to business. Like many of Hollywood’s elite, Reynolds has become involved with various business ventures over the years. One of his biggest partnerships is with Aviation Gin.
In February 2018, Reynolds purchased a large stake in the liquor company, making him part owner. Aside from ownership, Reynolds is very hands on in the creative process, coming up with ways to improve the quality of the product. Reynolds desire to work with the company started in 2017 after he experienced his first drink of Aviation Gin. “I did this for one simple reason: It’s the best damn gin on the planet,” the actor explained of his partnership with the liquor brand.
‘Vasectomy’ Cocktail For Father’s Day
With Father’s Day around the corner, Reynolds thought it’d be fun to create a new cocktail. The dad of three girls shared his new concoction with his 37 million Instagram followers. Once again Blake Lively’s husband is hilarious as he talks about the “joys” of fatherhood while mixing together the “Vasectomy” cocktail.
In the hilarious tutorial, Reynolds tries to keep a straight face as he mixes his new drink. For the cocktail, Reynolds combines ice, cranberry juice, tonic, lemon juice, and Aviation Gin. As Reynolds creates his new cocktail, he spills ingredients and acts tense as he talks about the stress of having kids. Reynolds jokes about lack of sleep and the kids having him run around.
Reynolds’ cocktail tutorial has already garnered over three million views on Instagram. The comment section is filled with fans who applauded Reynolds for his humor and brutal honesty. Even soccer star David Beckham got a kick out of it, “Amazing (fire emoji) @vancityreynolds (cry laughing emoji),” he wrote.
Beckham And Reynolds’ Humorous Interactions
Reynolds and his good friend David Beckham have a history of humorous interactions. In 2018, prior to the release of “Deadpool 2,” Beckham starred in a short promotional video for the film. The clip opens with Beckham at his home watching the first “Deadpool” movie in which Reynolds’ character pokes fun at Beckham’s voice.
Reynolds then appears in his Deadpool costume at Beckham’s front door begging him for forgiveness. After failing to win him over with balloons, milk and cookies, and a mariachi band; he surprises his friend with two tickets to a soccer game. However, their truce doesn’t last long after Beckham makes fun of Reynolds’ box-office bombs.
Aside from their Deadpool spoof, the two pals had a funny Instagram interaction earlier this year. In February, Reynolds posted an Instagram photo of him signing 100 bottles of Aviation Gin. Beckhman commented on the post by writing, “Wow that’s a sore wrist if I ever saw one (crying face emoji.” Reynolds had a funny response to Beckham’s comment, “I’ve intensely trained my wrist since I was 15. Wait…what are we talking about?”
Loves Being A Dad
Although, Reynolds cocktail video pokes fun at the hardships of fatherhood, it’s a role the actor adores. He and his wife of eight years, actress Blake Lively are the proud parents of three daughters. Having three girls under the age of six is stressful for any father, but Reynolds is hands on when it comes to raising his daughters.
Reynolds often jokes about the adventures in raising his kids, but he’s also shown his sentimental side too. During his Walk of Fame ceremony, Reynolds thanked his wife and his kids for making his life better. With a husband and dad like Reynolds, Lively and the girls are lucky to have him in their lives.
