Salma Hayek does not appear to have noticed the major mistake she made while sharing an Instagram update this weekend. The 54-year-old actress was all long hair, don’t care in a relaxing and low-key Saturday post, one shared with the “Frida” star’s 18 million followers and bringing her in a gorgeous sundress. Salma, who lounged around backyard steps with a barefoot finish ushering in summer vibes, told her fans it was “Sunday vibes.” Problem was, she didn’t post on Sunday. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Salma has made oops mistakes before on Instagram, once failing to correctly name the number of images she used in a collage. She jokingly apologized for that one, but not here. Yesterday, “The Eternals” face posted a massive chill vibe while in a sleeveless white dress and without shoes or socks on, stunning fans with her natural beauty as she lay on her back on old and worn stone steps.
With a little sunlight on her toned legs, the Mexican wrote: “Sunday vibes.”
Hayek, who has been making headlines for upcoming movie “The Eternals,” “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard,” and much-anticipated “House of Gucci” with Lady Gaga and Al Pacino, quickly saw fans picking up on the error.
“Mija, it’s Saturday but it’s ok I thought it was Sunday too,” a user replied. Joking, another said: “Don’t rush Salma it’s still SATURDAY!!!” Others, meanwhile, simply sent the fiesty star long string of heart or fire emoji. Scroll for more photos after the weekend snap.
Salma is fresh from a massive Variety feature, one bringing a chic shoot and even a little high heels yoga posing. The interview saw Salma reveal her near-fatal COVID battle, one requiring oxygen, although it likewise brought her breaking her silence on “The Eternals.”
“But to be an action hero, being Mexican, a woman, and my age, it felt like they were punking me,” she said. “And then the worst part is that I was one of the first people they cast. I had to keep my mouth shut for so many months.” More below.
The actress added: “I couldn’t tell a soul. And I couldn’t wait for the day that I could say it.” The superhero flick, set for release next year, also stars legendary actress Angelina Jolie, “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown, plus “Game of Thrones” face Kit Harington. It adds to the piles of new releases from Hayek, which also includes Amazon Prime Video flick “Bliss.”
Salma is, amid all the buzz, racking up Instagram followers, having gained 1 million since hitting 17 million earlier this year. If you missed the billionaire husband drama, just scroll.
