Once better known for Happy Meals and redheaded clowns, McDonald’s is quickly making a name for its surprising celebrity endorsers.
Take rap icon Travis Scott for example. The ‘Sicko Mode’ singer might seem like an unlikely match for a brand associated mainly with kids’ parties, but his signature ‘Travis Scott Meal’ has caused national Quarter Pounder ingredient shortages and even stoked a viral TikTok trend.

What’s On The Menu?
What would you expect to munch on if you ordered a BTS or a Travis Scott?
In Travis’s case, you’d get a Quarter Pounder burger with added cheese, bacon and shredded lettuce, as well as a Sprite soda and BBQ sauce-dipped fries – an apparent favorite combo from when he was a kid.
But just why are these super-rich stars shilling out reasonably priced burgers? Keep reading to find out.
Eyes On The Fries
Even global franchises hit a rough spot during the pandemic. McDonald’s were reportedly taking a financial hit before teaming up with Travis, with sales dramatically spiking since his meal debuted.
And Travis himself didn’t come off too badly either, apparently earning $20million from sales and merchandising.
Similarly, J Balvin and BTS are also adding merch to their meal orders, which will no doubt prove to be extremely popular.

We’re Loving It
Teaming up with McDonald’s has certainly proved lucrative for celebs… Or maybe they just like the burgers.
Not that we’re complaining! With the ‘Travis Scott Meal’ priced at just $6, and the BTS meal introducing two new sauces (Cajun and Sweet Chili), we’re getting a taste of celeb without the price tag.
So, who might be the next McCeleb? With the BTS meal still available until June 20, it’s unlikely we’ll get a new star-studded meal soon… but you never know!
Until then, we’ll just be enjoying our star-approved nuggets…
