“Alaskan Bush People” star Bear Brown is admitting that the last year has not been ideal, but on his 34th birthday is vowing to stay positive and have as much fun as he can, regardless of the cards he’s been dealt in life.
As we’ve previously reported, the Discovery reality star has been an open book when it comes to his personal struggles as he has endured the recent breakup of his fiancee yet again while simultaneously mourning the death of his father from earlier this year.
Announcing that it was his big day, Bear Brown shared a photo of himself wearing a tux and smiling for a selfie.
“Where [does] the time go? Seems like just yesterday I was a kid running wild in Alaska, hunting, fishing, surviving, but also living and loving life in a world that seems very different from mine today!” Bear began his birthday message.
He added, “Today is the first time in 34 years that my Dad won’t be around for my birthday, I miss him so much! I wish I could talk with him again, I wish I could give him a hug!”
While the “Alaskan Bush People” star is usually focused on having tons of fun in the wild, Bear admits:
“This year has been the hardest in my life! I appreciate everyone who has stuck with me and with my family! I’m gonna still try to have as much fun today as I can! I know that’s what he’d want! Every day is a blessing, I think too many people forget that! Thank you everyone for your support!!! God bless!”
Happy birthday, Bear!
