After the birth, the proud parents have since shown their affection for their daughter as they bestowed her with a wonderful name rife with depth and truly a gift for the newborn princess.
Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is the name given to the new-born, which honors her great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, who is fondly called Lilibet by her friends and her grandmother, the late Princess Diana who died in a car crash in 1997.

Diana Would Be Proud
Princess Diana, according to the words of Stewart Pearce during an interaction with “Poculture,” would be “thrilled” with the name bestowed on her granddaughter.
Pearce is the late Princess’ former voice coach, who had nothing but flowery words to describe the late Princess.
In his words he said; “Diana was the personification of love, the exemplar of unconditional love, and in deep respect of Queen Elizabeth she would have been so excited by the birth of the baby and her beautiful names.”

He explained that she would have loved to show love and protect and guide her grandchildren as they grew up in the royal family.
“If she were alive, she would have loved being a Grandmother, both in providing a vast and protective love for the little ones and by showing them how they could potentially navigate the complex waterways of protocol concerning service, public duty, and private personal boundaries,” he noted
Although the little princess will not meet her grandmother whom she is named after, her parents Harry and Meghan have ensured sweetly that her presence remains felt in their lives.
When reports confirmed the name of Harry and Markle’s new-born, they were filled with joy for the couple and on behalf of the late Princess Diana.
