What Happened After His Death?
Following his death, Queen Elizabeth went into eight days of mourning before participating in the late prince’s funeral that took place in a private ceremony on April 17, 2021.
Since then, there has been barely any word on the Queens condition with regards to the loss of her husband, but the silence was broken, two months after the incident.
Prince Edward spoke with “CNN” concerning Philip’s legacy in honor of his 100th birthday on June 10, 2021. In his remarks, he also shared with everyone the true state of the queen since her husband passed.
How Is The Queen Now?
The Prince suggested happily that the Queen is doing remarkably well.
He claimed that the Queen’s schedule has been getting a lot more busy in recent weeks which has helped in filling “any particular void.”
“I think that it was a fantastic partnership, but over the last couple of weeks, life has got considerably busier. Things are beginning to open up more, there are more activities so weirdly that sort of fills any particular void,” he said to the news outlet.
Prince Edward also mentioned that despite the Queen’s remarkable condition, there are moments that prove harder for the queen and the entire family.
Still A Work-In-Progress
The Prince said; “there are going to be other times further along the year where I think that it will become a bit more poignant and a bit harder, but at the moment, thank you very much indeed for asking, I think that everybody’s in pretty good shape really, and just working rather too hard.”
The recent reports of the queen’s condition by Prince Edward, has been a long-awaited one by fans and supporters all over the world.
While everyone understands that the monarch needs to take her time to heal, they are glad that she is doing it quickly.
