Chris Harrison Is Leaving ‘The Bachelor’ After Defending Racist Contestant
This week, it was announced that “The Bachelor” host, Chris Harrison, is stepping down from hosting the show, after appearing on it for 20 years. This is in the aftermath of him defending a contestant previously attending an antebellum plantation-themed party, according to NBC News.
“Chris Harrison is stepping aside as host of The Bachelor franchise. We are thankful for his many contributions over the past 20 years and wish him all the best on his new journey,” said Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment said in a statement sent to NBC News on Tuesday.
Jon Will Be One Of The New Co-Hosts
Harrison’s departure means room for other celebrities to host “The Bachelor” as well. Jon will be one of the celebrities to be able to earn this opportunity, as well as Lance Bass and Tituss Burgess. Fox News was told that each of these celebrities will “rotate” their hosting positions, but it’s unclear how many times each of them will host the show in total. For Jon, he even guest-starred on “The Bachelor” back in 2018, so the show is definitely familiar with his talent.

Jon Is Reportedly Worth $30 Million
With his power moved locked in by Lil Jon to host “The Bachelor,” he should definitely see a huge payday. He is already fairly wealthy, as he is reported to be worth $30 million. He was able to soar to stardom around 2004, when he formed the hip-hop group, Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz. Some of his most notable records are “Snap Yo Fingers” featuring E-40 in 2006, and “Turn Down For What,” in 2014. The “Turn Down For What” record helped Jon branch out into that EDM world, as he now hosts events at various nightclubs in Las Vegas as well.
