The show, which launched on June 4, is a sci-fi action-adventure that focuses on a boy, Gus, played by Convery, who is half-human and half-deer. The story follows his struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world with other human-animal hybrids.
Although only 11-years-old, the Canadian-born child star has an impressive net worth of 3 million, and has already been acting for years.
The “Beautiful Boy” actor already has an astounding 28 acting credits to his name, landing his first role five years ago in 2016.
Convery first stepped onto the scene in the TV movie “Hearts of Spring.” That same year, he guest-starred as Lucas Kellinger on the hit CW show “Supernatural,” and followed it up with two other TV Christmas movies that same year: “My Christmas Dream” and “Christmas List.”
2018 was another big year for the rising star, as he appeared in “Aliens Ate My Homework,” “The Package, “Beautiful Boy,” and three different Christmas-themed TV movies.
Although he is already an accomplished actor, the young star is also an athlete as well, listing his favorite sports as scuba diving, baseball, basketball, boxing, snowboarding, soccer, surfing, swimming, water skiing, and wrestling!
If that wasn’t impressive enough, Convery is also an accomplish musician, and loves playing both the acoustic and electric guitar.
He revealed that he has the “biggest passion” for discovering new countries, cultures, and languages, and also describes himself as a massive foodie who loves sushi!
In addition to those accomplishments, Convery revealed that he loves to go on adventures. After walking the Great Wall of China and getting his certification as a “PADIO Open Water Junior Diver” in Thailand, the “Pup Academy” actor also shared some details on his death-defying experience in New Zealand!
As he explained, “I recently was in New Zealand where I did an Abseil 100 meters / 328 feet into ‘The Lost World,’ which included the same private guide that Tom Cruise hired when he did this tour 4 times!”
“The Lost World Tour took me down a vertical entrance shaft where I descended straight into a prehistoric world filled with strange beautiful plants and fossils, followed by a dry caving adventure as I explored the gigantic vaults of the Mangapu Cave system, including seeing amazing glow worms and followed by a 30 meter / 100 foot ladder that I had to climb straight up from the bottom of the cave to get out called ‘The Stairway To Heaven.’ It was a mind-blowing adventure!”
For fans looking to see more of Convery, he has two films currently sitting in post-production.
The second is a mystery thriller called “Home” which features Convery as a young boy facing an “unspeakable terror in the wake of a family tragedy.”
