Mariah Carey is denying the reports that she got in a very heated fight with Jay-Z over her future with Roc Nation.
The “We Belong Together” singer took to social media on Monday, June 7 to set the record straight. “The only ‘explosive’ situation I’d ever ‘get into’ with Hov is a creative tangent, such as our #1 song ‘Heartbreaker’!!” the Diva tweeted. “To the people who make up these lies I say ‘Poof! —Vamoose, sonofa*‘!”

On Friday, The Sun reported that Mariah got heated and walked out of meeting with Jay-Z and other Roc Nation executives. The English publication called the fight between the two superstars a “blazing row.”
“Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting which did not go well at all. She has made it clear she wants nothing more to do with him and has called it quits with Roc Nation,” a source told The Sun on June 4. “She will formally depart in the next few weeks.”
The reported fight comes three years after she inked a deal with the label to have Roc Nation manage her career. “It is a shame because they had done some great work in the last few years. But this meeting couldn’t have gone much worse,” The Sun’s source added.
Carey denied the fight between her and Jay-Z, but she didn’t specifically say that she was planning to stay with Roc Nation. At the time of the original report, The Sun claimed that Mariah has already found a new manager that she’s interested in.
“Mariah has been talking to other managers and thinks she has found someone who she feels has full belief in her as she takes her next steps,” The Sun’s source said at the time.
According to the NY Post, the songstress has already been removed from the list of artists that Roc Nation represents.
