Dan Babic is speaking out about Lisa Vanderpump‘s latest series, “Vanderpump Dogs.”
Ahead of the Peacock show’s premiere next week, Babic, a style expert and television host, spoke to The Blast about what fans can expect from the coming episodes.
“You’ll definitely see no ‘Real Housewives’ on the show,” Babic confirmed with a laugh, further adding that Vanderpump’s relationship with her ex-co-stars is “still very strained.”

Dan Babic Looks Back On ‘Puppy Gate’ And Its Impact On Lisa Vanderpump
According to Babic, the “Puppy Gate” scandal, which blew up on “RHOBH” after Vanderpump was accused of leaking a negative story to Radar Online that suggested Dorit Kemsley abandoned an animal she adopted from Vanderpump Dogs, will be addressed on the debut season of “Vanderpump Dogs.”
“The Dorit ‘PuppyGate’ drama definitely filters in to the show,” he shared. “That whole situation was devastating for Lisa and I completely understand why she had no intention of ever speaking to or seeing any of the ‘Housewives’ again.”
‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast Members Might Make Cameos on ‘Vanderpump Dogs’
While Babic confirmed that viewers would not be seeing any members of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast on “Vanderpump Dogs,” he said that appearances by the “Vanderpump Rules” stars were likely.
“You may see some of your favorite ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars. You’ll just have to wait and see,” he teased.
As for the drama of “Vanderpump Dogs,” Babic confirmed there would be some.
“There’s always a little drama despite all the light and love fur babies bring,” he admitted. “It’s a reality show after all.”

“I think viewers will get a little taste of the drama they crave. But most importantly viewers will feel so good after watching the show and it will have them wanting to adopt a dog of their own. It’s so rare to see feel good stories on television and I think it’s exactly what the world needs right now,” Babic continued of the series.
When The Blast then asked Babic what he hopes “Vanderpump Dogs” will offer to its viewers, he told us that he hopes they feel “overjoyed” as they watch the animals from Vanderpump’s rescue center find their forever homes.

“With all the negativity in the world, Vanderpump Dogs is the perfect show to forget your troubles and to truly unwind and relax. It will become the show for people where they can take a deep breathe and know that all is truly well in the world,” he added.
