“The Hills: New Beginnings” started airing on June 24, 2019, and is currently in its second season. So far, the show has revealed interesting yet dramatic and controversial happenings between its cast members.
Although filming stopped for over a year due to the pandemic, the production company has announced its comeback for another season.
Sadly, two cast, Mischa Barton and Stephanie Pratt will not make an appearance in this new season.
In the first season, viewers were distracted with several happenings on the show; some of which may have even seeped into this next season.
Speidi Explains Why The Show Is Now Unbearable
One couple that is popular for their unrelenting fun ways, and flamboyant lifestyle is Spencer and Heidi Pratt, otherwise known as ‘Speidi.’
The pair have been involved in a fair share of live television drama, and now, it seems like they want out of the show.
During a discussion with ET, the couple expressed their candid thoughts about why they feel like villains on the show. They revealed that the other cast were always shaming them.
“I felt very judged and mom-shamed because we had just been through a pandemic. We almost lost our business,” Heidi explained.
Drama-Filled Scenes From The Past Season
“The Hills: New Beginnings” has only fully aired one season, but fans have experienced enough drama that could last a lifetime.
The Pratts kicked off Episode two partying and living the best of their lives, but that also contributed to intoxicated conversations and reactions.
In the same episode, Heidi could no longer handle her liquor, so she took a few missteps and spilled her drink on Kaitlynn Carter. Spencer on the other hand, got so drunk that his friend, Brody Jenner, tried to find out if he was having marital problems.

The Pratt couple welcomed their first child, Gunner Stone on October 1, 2017, eight years after their wedding, which took place in Pasadena, California, on April 25, 2009.
Spencer is a popular American television personality, who rose to greatness after starring in the original show titled “The Hills.”
Heidi on the other hand, is also an American television personality, actress and singer, who was also cast in “The Hills.”
Overt he years, the singer has released a few songs, and appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine in 2009.
The New Season
For over a year, the cast of “The Hills: New Beginnings” stopped filming to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines, and stop the spread of the virus.
However, they announced via their Instagram page that the show will continue its second season on May 12, 2021.
While fans are expecting many events to take place, they’re troubled with the idea of the Pratts leaving for good. Although the couple have not made any official announcements, they simply registered their disappointments with “ET.”
Everyone is looking forward to this season because it is already a blast.
