Summer Walker continues to be one of the most dominant artists in R&B. Last summer, she put out a very solid EP in “Life On Earth,” which contained five songs and hits such as “SWV” featuring NO1-Noah, and “White Tee,” which also featured Noah. She also stunned social media in November by announcing that she was pregnant, as the father of the child is multi-platinum producer, London On Da Track, who produce almost all of her debut album, “Over It,” in 2019.
Summer Walker Has Been Having Issues With London For A While Now
Leading up to the birth of Summer‘s child earlier this year, she had been going through a very rocky relationship with London. They had been dating since 2019 and broke up multiple times. Last November, she blasted London on multiple occasions on social media, as she went as far as calling him “lame” and “selfish.” When the child was born, the couple appeared to be in a good place but now, that looks to be far from the case. Summer took to her second Instagram, @GalactaWhore, to call the producer out again.
Summer Tells Women To ‘Run From This Type Of Man’
“Ladies run from this type of man. A man that believes you are NOTHING without them from the start till the end will never want you to be anything without them. They will sabotage anything you do solo and envy you once you begin to stand on your own 2 feet. That’s not real love, that’s control. Big narcissist vibes.”
Summer Responded Due To London Subliminally Dissing Her On Twitter
Summer ended up having to put up multiple of these IG posts due to what London said about her on Twitter. This was “Don’t feel bad about helping someone and then they casually forget when they are in a better situation. A river that forgets its source will soon dry out.” Summer took that personally as the mother of his child.
“& why would you want the mother of your child to soon ‘dry out’ so that I can’t provide for her. Lmaooo n***as is weird. If you ain’t the captain of the ship it’s just sink the whole ship lmao. Okay I’m done.”
Summer Is Working On Sophomore Album
As far as her music goes, Summer may finally be putting out her sophomore album sometime this year. Back in a December Instagram post, she posted several photos of herself in a recording studio, where she said she is working on an album. Her debut album saw much success in October 2019, as it debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and went platinum. It was led by hits such as “Girls Need Love” remix feat. Drake and “Come Thru” feat. Usher.
