Elizabeth Hurley has gone full farmer girl while rocking her wellies as she welcomes the British summer. The 55-year-old model and “Austin Powers” actress was #couuntryliving for her 2 million Instagram followers this week, posting a stunning nature snap amid grass and ushering in the month of June. Liz, who has been hunkered down in Herefordshire, U.K. for the global pandemic, tagged herself in the scenic British shires, where a grass setting and farm vibes were matched in outfit, complete with Wellington boots. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Hurley, who made winter headlines for enjoying the U.K.’s snow blanketing, was shouting out the rare warm temperatures that have hit many parts of Britain this week. The ex to Hugh Grant, stunning her fans in a plunging white tank top, had been snapped casually seated in a grassy field, all smiles and sun-kissed as she rocked faded jeans and olive-green Wellington boots, plus shades.
It was also warm enough for the Elizabeth Hurley Beach founder to have removed her jacket.
Liz, who gets the fans going every time she updates, took to her caption, writing: “#countryliving,” adding: “Happy June1st from Herefordshire.” The swimwear designer, very much not flying around the world amid COVID, has instead been making headlines for staying put, also for sharing her quarantine activities, which have included the 47 jars of home-made marmalade she made.
“Nice boots,” a fan quickly replied. “You look amazing as usual Miss Hurley, have a great day stay safe,” another told the mom of one.
Hurley last year opened up on her lock-down, revealing a warm and caring heart. “There are nine of us. I have my whole family here, including my mother, an aunt and a friend who has severe respiratory problem,” she told Hello! “I am completely paranoid that I won’t be able to keep them safe, and I haven’t let anyone leave the house apart from me.”
Liz has since confirmed she’s received her COVID vaccine, but not without backlash. More photos after the marmalades.
Announcing she is now safely vaxxed, Liz also took a moment to thank the U.K’s National Health Service, a.k.a. the NHS, which offers free healthcare across the country.
“Thank you to all the courageous NHS workers who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe. All my family in my age group and older are now double vaccinated. All my younger family members will be registering as soon as their age groups open up.”
