Miley Cyrus has suffered a malfunction that nearly everyone in the developed world has likely experienced. The 28-year-old superstar singer was happy to broadcast her phone battery incident as she updated to announce her Summerfest 2021 appearance recently, with the “Prisoner” hit-maker’s 133 million Instagram followers going positively wild as a result. Miley, who sent Twitter upside-down as she broadcasted her phone warning her she’s at 10% battery, even threw out advice – basic as it was, it was appreciated. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. The post came with the former “Hannah Montana” star confirming a headlining appearance at Summerfest, this with collaborator The Kid Laroi. The video, showing Miley shot close up with a big lips moment, came with an unexpected and stark technological warning: “Low Battery, 10% remaining” appeared on the screen, with Cyrus quickly giving a nod to it in her caption.
“Don’t forget to charge your phone & get your tickets! Me & @thekidlaroi are coming to @summerfest,” she wrote.
Quick to reply was Laroi with his “YESSSIIIRRR,” but fans were quick to note the 10% and, seemingly, prove in the mood to remember their own experiences with low phone battery. “I thought I had 10%,” one wrote. “The way I kept trying to click “close” thinking it was my phone lol,” another added.
A quick look at the comments section shows countless others jumping aboard: “Not me thinking my phone was dead after i JUST charged it,” one follower chimed in. More photos after the video.
Miley is today fresh from announcing something brand new, exciting, and not directly linked to music. The blonde’s Tuesday Instagram update came with her parading around in chunky high heels and a long checkered coat as she announced her partnership with much-loved ice-cream brand Magnum.
“Everything I touch turns to gold henny! #MileyInLayers, a collaboration with @Magnum ice cream!” she wrote, adding: “Put on your headphones. An 8D performance on June 10th is coming! Because Pleasure Has More Than One Layer.” More photos after the video.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommy’s around the world! Especially mine! Who I have to say is the very best one on the entire planet earth! She is the ultimate woman! I love you @tishcyrus !!!! You’re my everything! @nbcsnl.”
