Hailey, just like many other celebrities, struggles with acne and other skin problems, but she has taken steps to control them.
In a new interview, she shared her secrets to help her fans achieve her flawless, glowing skin!
Many women experience acne during their cycle, and Hailey is no exception, especially since starting to use birth control. Even though it can be frustrating, she tries to keep a positive mindset.
“I think sometimes, like with hormones, you can’t control it,” she explained. “You just have to be patient, let it happen, and let it even out.“
Hailey uses several products to keep her skin in perfect shape.
“I use any normal spot cream — something that has a good acne fighter, like benzoyl peroxide. The problem with that, though, is it burns my skin a little bit and my skin is so sensitive and it gets dry so easily,” she revealed.
“I have found that diaper rash cream is a great thing for bringing down redness and healing. If you think about what it’s actually used for, which is red bumpy skin, it’s essentially the same thing. Diaper rash cream is great for under-eye bags, too.”
She continued, “In a polar vortex, I’ll put Aquaphor on my face at night. I get dry spots and something thick like that works for me. Normally, I’ll use an oil with a moisturizer at night.”
She also opts for liquid highlighters, like “the BareMinerals BarePro Glow Highlighter, more than a powder. Some people like that chromatic highlight and that’s great. Everybody has to find what they like on themselves.”
Hailey revealed that she and her husband Justin have the same skincare routine, and they both work to keep each other motivated.
“Justin has really nice skin naturally, [but] over the last two years he’s been struggling with adult-onset acne breakouts,” she shared.
“So, [since] I’m super into skincare and especially since we’ve had a lot of time in this quarantine, I told him that by the time we exit [isolation] he’s going to have glowing, perfect skin.”
Other Celebrity Struggles
Actress Mindy Kaling has posted selfies with her face covered in spot cream alongside “Riverdale” star Lili Reinhart, who shared, “My breakouts don’t define me. To anyone out there who feels embarrassed or ashamed by breakouts… I feel you.”
