The Jonas Brothers have been breaking into the music industry with rapid success. Although the group disbanded years ago, their reunion in 2019 was among the most popular topics in pop-culture for months.
The group consisting of brothers Joe, Nick, and Kevin, (All with the last name Jonas) are arguably even more respected now than when they reached their peak of teenage stardom between 2005 and 2008.
Today, they are practically dominating social media, especially with their latest appearance on The Late Night Show With James Corden!
A Darker Hundred Acres
The three brothers took part in creating a number of skits on the show, with several showing yet again how wonderful they are at acting.
However, nothing really compares to a skit they created that parodies “Winnie The Pooh”. The group can be seen fully dressed up in a Tigger costume, Pooh costume, and an Eeyore outfit.
The latter actually became the focus of the skit, hilariously (and darkly) showing why this donkey is so depressed all the time. If you haven’t seen this yet, you are in for a treat!
Medley
The news comes not long after seeing the group perform at the Billboard Award Show (2021). The group sang a “Medley” of their latest hits, and it was amazing!
The video demonstrates how well the group has matured over the years, with fans across social media echoing those thoughts.
Songs like “Sucker”, “Only Human”, and “What A Man Gotta Do” were included in this wonderful performance. (Including their new song “Leave Before You Love Me”! A song now showing nearly 3 million views on YouTube.)
Outlets are calling this a perfect taste of what their tour can be like.
‘Live, Ever’
Kevin shared during an interview with Harpers Bazaar that he never thought he would be back with the brothers performing again after they broke up.
“Being back with the Jonas Brothers? I truly never thought it would happen,” Kevin says. “Like, ever. When that chapter closed, it closed. I put that book on the shelf.”
Joe and Nick had similar statements to make, agreeing that they thought that was a part of their life that was over. (Nick even thought that they wouldn’t talk to each other again)
‘Laugh At Ourselves’
“I was like, ‘I’m not doing this again.” Joe said.
Nick followed by saying, “Right after the band split up, I didn’t know if we would ever speak again.”
“I love that we’re all in a place where we can laugh at ourselves,” Nick said. “We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We can acknowledge that we were once a little robotic and uncool. Now we’re just plain uncool—and we’re okay with that.”
Ironically, many fans think their latest music video is anything but un-cool. Their tour is looking to be a massively successful one.
