William Shatner is licking his wounds after stepping into the ring with Mike Tyson, but he did ask for it. The iconic “Star Trek” star recently teamed up with the boxing champ for a series of promo spots for a pain relief product called CopperGel, which is connected to Iron Mike’s company, Tyson Ranch.
The hilarious spots began appearing online this month, with 90-year-old Shatner getting invited to the Tyson Ranch office by the boxer himself.
“I have to show you something, Bill!” Tyson pleaded before the star agreed to the visit.
A follow-up video reveals William Shatner dancing around in the ring with Mike Tyson, both men gloved up and ready for a little sparring session. The mood changed after Shatner demanded that Tyson deliver a blow like it was a real fight.
“What’s it like to be hit by the great world champion?” Shatner pondered while trying to get Tyson to give him a shot.
Finally, Tyson gives in and delivers a haymaker punch to Shatner’s face that sends the actor flying!

The “fight” between William Shatner and Mike Tyson was all done to help push CopperGel, a powerful pain relief topical that uses camphor and menthol to deliver fast-acting, deep, penetrating pain relief for sore muscles, backaches, sore joints, and arthritis.
As Tyson Ranch is world-renowned for its high-grade cannabis, CopperGel includes active ingredients from hemp, as well as a powerful CBD version.
After taking that punch, William Shatner is definitely going to want to stock up.
