Kristin Cavallari is posing in a bikini and showing what was once considered a cardinal sin. The 34-year-old reality star and Uncommon James founder was as much about the summer vibes as she was the sense of humor on Wednesday, taking to Instagram from Palm Springs, CA, and highlighting both her golden tan and, yes, tan lines. “The Hills: New Beginnings” star, fresh from the launch of her much-anticipated beauty brand, was all golden skin and style, and her 4.1 million followers couldn’t send enough thumbs-up. Check it out below.

It comes as the MTV face makes headlines for expanding her empire from Uncommon James jewelry to her new Uncommon Beauty brand, one that’s offering clean skincare and comes with plenty of promo. Taking a break from flogging her lotions and potions, the mom of three updated looking super-fit and healthy as she posed – not in sunlight – on an outdoor path and amid greenery.
Rocking a super-stylish and cut-out black bikini, Kristin stunned her fans, but the photo was only the first half.
All beachy-waved blonde hair and tagging her best-selling jewelry brand, Kristin clearly showed tan marks around the tops of her legs and under her thin-strapped top, taking to her caption and writing: “Tan lines are in.” The humor has been pretty steady from Cavallari of late, with a recent shot of her legs-up and head-in-the-sink making headlines: she was getting her hair colored.
“OMG KRISTIN!!!” a fan quickly replied, with another saying: “Girl you create whats in! ?” More photos after the snap.
It’s always caption game strong from Kristin, who recently rocked a plunging, 50’s-era dress as she posed on a counter and wrote: “What does a girl have to do around here to get a cocktail ?.”
Instagram is now a lucrative place for the star whose beauty brand sees her joining the likes of reality faces-turned-beauty ones such as Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and newbie Savannah Chrisley. “I felt like there was really a need for a skin-care line that is, in fact, clean while still being effective,” she told Glossy. More photos below.
Revealing the impetus for her brand, Kristin added: “One of the No. 1 questions that I’ve always gotten has been, ‘What is your skin-care routine?’ So about a year ago, I decided to send in the products I was using at the time, to our now lab, to test them and just see what’s going on.”
“How effective are they? And what came back was pretty alarming. I was using high-end products that I thought were relatively clean, and it came back that, in fact, they’re not clean at all,” she continued.
