“I had a big blowout about that on ‘Housewives’ this season, for sure,” Garcelle revealed. “I mean, I had enough. I had had enough and I needed to let it out and I didn’t even realize that I needed to let it out, but I did. I think it’s hard. I think if you’re not in it, you don’t understand. But I think you can no longer use that as an excuse, just because it doesn’t affect your life doesn’t mean that it’s not happening.”
Garcelle Beauvais Believes Reality TV Is ‘Hard’ To Do
No Ad to show
According to Beauvais, exposing one’s life to the cameras isn’t as easy as it may seem to outsiders.
“It’s a hard show to do. Somebody asked me about [my talk show] ‘The Real’ and I said, ‘With ‘The Real,’ I can totally be myself and have my guard down.’ With the ‘Housewives,’ it’s different because it’s not that type of show. So it was definitely a decision. I mean, I don’t know how much longer I’ll do it, but I’m here now,,” she admitted.
Garcelle Beauvais Recently Caught Up With Denise Richards
Speaking of her latest meeting with Richards, Beauvais said that she told Richards she was missed on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
“I told her that we missed her,” Beauvais recalled, noting that she and Richards were hoping to film a scene or two for the show’s 11th season but never did due to scheduling conflicts.
“I have to tell you, she looks happier and younger since she’s left the show,” Beauvais shared. “I would love to see her come back. I really do. I understand why she didn’t, but I’d love to see her come back.”
Garcelle Beauvais Felt More Confident Going Into ‘RHOBH’ Season 11
“The second season, I knew what I was in for,” she noted. “This season, I felt like I got my bearings and I was a lot more comfortable and opinionated.”
