There’s some good news and some bad news to share regarding the upcoming Jackass 4 movie. The good news is it’s happening. We are going to get to see a bunch of dudes creeping up on 50 years old go through similar wacky stunts that they did in their 20’s!
However, the crew is going through some personal differences. Last night Bam Margera took to Instagram to give an update on his personal situation. As well as, confirm that he has been effectively axed from the new movie!
Last night Bam Margera put out a video on his Instagram page where he explained that he is in Florida and he’s checked into a rehab program. He still took the time to bash his Jackass family.
Bam mentioned that his Jackass family has “abandoned me, betrayed me, rejected me”. While mentioning that his contract allegedly for the Jackass 4 movie wasn’t exactly a graceful one. Apparently, there were many different clauses in Bam’s contract that are making it difficult for him to make his “five million dollars”.
About three hours after Bam posted his video another Jackass alumn popped into the comment section of the post. Steve-o wrote to Bam to let him know exactly why he was essentially being axed from the movie.
Steve-O publically mentioned the reasons why Bam was getting tough love from the Jackass crew.
“You’ve continued to get loaded, it’s that simple. We all love you every bit as much as we all say we do, but nobody who really loves you can enable or encourage you to stay sick.”
Steve-O is not just busy on social media talking about why they are not letting Bam back into Jackass. He’s also giving away some of the potential stunts that we’ll get to see in the movie through his Youtube channel.
There may or may not be a stunt where he gets a shot that paralyzes him from the waist down while he’s running around. Let’s hope that this shot only causes a temporary effect. However, it does show how wild things may get this time around!
All signs are pointing to the fact that Bam will not be coming back to the movie. Bam hints at the fact that it was Knoxville and company who forced him into rehab as part of his contract. However, in his most recent rehab stint, he was prescribed a bunch of different medications that Knoxville did not want him taking.
In short, it seems that Bam is going to be on the outside looking in this time around. He’ll probably end up missing out on the 5 million dollars he gets for these movies.
