Channing Tatum tipped his swimmer's cap to professional athletes after completing a grueling 2-mile swim in the open ocean.

The "Magic Mike" star shared a video of himself making his way ashore, looking drained of energy on Sunday, May 23. Channing wore tight knee-length trunks and a pair of goggles as he mustered up the strength to wade out of the water.

"I have done all kinds of bulls--t to get in or stay in shape. Almost everything you can think of. And i have to say nothing yet has been more suffocating and exhausting and effective than freestyle wrestling or open ocean water swimming," Tatum wrote on social media. "There are moments in both that i am always like i think I might die haha. Yup pretty sure i can’t go on let go would be better than this."

The buff actor then pontificated about the difference between actors and pro athletes.

"Haha ? and I’m not even i professional athlete. I can’t imagine the depths in which they push themselves. Unreal. I do it for movies Hahahaha very different motivation," he joked.

He couldn't resist taking a subtle jab at his friend that didn't finish the swim. "Either way get after it everyone. It’s good to be alive. There are so many people that can’t say that. I’m so blessed. P.s as you can see I’m coming in by myself Arin didn’t make it. 2mile ocean swim bruh."

Channing's "21 Jump Street" co-star Jonah Hill quickly liked the post and commented, "Ocean is everything." Hill is an avid surfer and was digging his friend's salty vibes.

Tatum is much bigger than the stereotypical swimmer's body, but the aquatic exercise is certainly showing results. He shared a shredded thirst trap after a dip in his pool last month and made his followers swoon... some were a little jealous too.

"Omg," Kendra Wilkinson commented at the time while a funny follower wrote, "Way to ruin my beer & pasta."
