Simone Biles isn’t just talking the talk as she delivers “Versace on the Floor.” The 24-year-old superstar gymnast, big-time repping luxury Italian brand Versace of late, made it a double V affair with NFL player boyfriend Jonathan Owens recently, posting twinning bathrobe action with her beau and going extra witty as she shouted out the “Versace on the Floor” hit by singer Bruno Mars. Simone, whose Instagram is now packed with luxury brands, went for loungewear that retails for over $500. Technically $1,000+ with the twinning deal. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Simone, who has also rocked a backless gold-and-black Versace bodysuit spotted on 32-year-old rapper Chanel West Coast recently, updated for her 3.9 million followers shortly after her 24th birthday.
The 30-time World and Olympic medalist, sharing birthday party shots amid balloons and plenty of pink, stunned fans as her 4’11” frame was dwarfed by Owens, with the 2020-commenced couple going #twinning in jet black and monogrammed Versace bathrobes injected with gold leaf motifs – rapper Nicki Minaj has rocked similar in pink.
With Owens wrapping an arm around his girlfriend and Simone smiling, veritably swathed in her robe, the snap also took in the couple’s major height difference, with Simone taking to her caption and writing: “Versace on the Floor.”
Over 150,000 likes have been left, with the two called a “couple made in heaven.” The designer action has been major from Simone in 2021, with January seeing her poolside at her Texas home and in a monochrome Balenciaga sweater. See it after the photo.
Simone, also going matching back in September 2020, had even shown off her puffy Gucci hat, one seeing her twin with Owens as he wore the exact same fabrics in bandana form. The former Nike partner, who this year ditched the sportswear giant for GAP’s Athletica, has revealed:
“My personal style is very basic just because I’m in the gym a lot. So it’s athletic, sporty, but still fun. I like dressing up but I feel like it’s also very basic.” More photos below!
Biles was still rocking more-affordable brands when she was profiled by Fashionista in 2019, telling the media outlet: “I online shop a lot. It’s a bad habit. A lot. If I get bored I’m online shopping, and that’s the worst part. I look at Fashion Nova, Pretty Little Thing, American Eagle or if I go to the store it’s like Forever 21.”
Versace is, of course, now the emblem of luxury and status as seen on many a Kardashian and the likes of “Bodak Yellow” rapper Cardi B. If you missed Simone’s epic joke on “how to get a bikini body,” just scroll.
