Garcelle Beauvais and her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast mates are returning to Bravo for the 11th season of their reality series tonight and ahead of the new episode, Beauvais weighed in on the show’s newest cast members, Kathy Hilton and Crystal Kung-Minkoff.
During an interview on the “KTLA Morning News” on May 18, Beauvais, who joined the series in 2019 for season 10, was asked if she reached out to Hilton, who will be featured in a part-time role, or Kung-Minkoff, who will be seen as a full-time cast member.
Garcelle Beauvais Doesn’t Think Kathy Hilton Needed Any Help
“No one reached out to me! It’s a dog-eat-dog world,” Beauvais replied.
Although Beauvais didn’t reach out to Hilton before she officially took on a “friend” role on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 11, she believes that Hilton, who has appeared in cameo roles over the past several years, knows how reality television works.
“I think actually Kathy Hilton is one of our, a new friend of the show, and she gets the game,” Beauvais explained. “[And] she’s a lot of fun.”
Garcelle Beauvais Reveals Kathy Hilton Doesn’t Have The ‘Pressure’ Of A Full-Time Role
Speaking of the part-time role Hilton took, Beauvais said that when it came to her cast mate’s responsibilities, she doesn’t have nearly as much pressure as the other ladies.
“She doesn’t have the pressure of holding the diamond where you have to be at every event, every thing,” Beauvais noted.
As for the other newbie, Beauvais said Kung-Minkoff has her full-time position “under control a little bit.”
That said, when the series begins airing later tonight, Kung-Minkoff could be faced with unruly fans and negative reactions to her behavior on the show.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff Is On Her Own
“Obviously there’s a big huge difference between shooting the show and watching it with the world and having the world weigh in and seeing what the women actually say behind your back. There’s not manual. There’s no handbook. So, she’s on her own,” Beauvais continued.
As for what else fans can expect to see from the new season, Beauvais said, “Right out of the gate, loyalty will be tested,” before referencing the legal drama and unexpected divorce of her cast mate, Erika Jayne.

” Obviously, you don’t want to see any friends of yours, or even an enemy, go through what she’s going through. But you kind of have to decide which way you’re going to go because if all the allegations are true, it’s pretty bad,” Beauvais admitted.
