Despite all of the things that he said about his family in the last few weeks and months, people in the know seem to think that Prince Harry will be in the UK on July 1st. The date is significant because it marks Princess Diana’s 60th birthday.
Harry and William have commissioned a statue to be made to honor their mother. The statue will sit in Diana’s former home Kensington Palace where Prince William now lives. It’s coincidently a place that Harry refused to live in even back when he was on “good terms” with the royals!
If you thought that the Royals were still bitter about that whole Oprah interview you may not be wrong. However, since then Prince Harry has doubled down and continued to publically bash his family. You can’t even blame Meghan for the latest developments.
Harry showed up solo to the Armchair Expert podcast where he talked about his father passing on a legacy of pain and suffering. In the podcast, he took some time to throw shade at his father, The Queen, the late Prince Philip and he even managed to anger American politicians. It’s so good to see that Harry is making friends in America!
Although the royals have not directly responded to anything that Harry has said in his most recent video Prince Charles did give certain hints that he is not too pleased with his second son.
The Prince is shown with a different backdrop than we’re used to seeing him in. The picture that can be seen in the background only features the Queen and the future kings. Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George. The picture has been taken as show of who really matters for the monarchy moving forward!

Royal sources are telling Page Six that Harry is planning on returning to the U.K. on that July 1st date. In fact, other outlets have even claimed that Harry and Meghan would be keen to show up at events for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
We’ll take a rain check on 2022 for now. This July though sources claim,
“No one is going to tell Harry not to come, but how does he face his family?”
With Harry continuing to take shots at his family by July there very well may be someone who stands up and tells him not to go!
Even without the Harry and Meghan drama, a ceremony to commemorate Diana would be hard to picture. Is Prince Charles going to be taking his current wife Camilla to the ceremony? That would be an awkward moment for everyone involved just on its own. Is Charles even going to be there?
The statue was commissioned by both William and Harry. Therefore they are probably meant to headline the event. From there the presence of other royals, even the Queen, could be seen as overly hypocritical by the public in general.
