Jon Moxley is one of the hottest stars currently in pro wrestling. The 35-year-old is experiencing a career resurgence since leaving WWE in 2019. Now, he’s one of the top stars in AEW, and the current IWGP United States Champion in NJPW. With Mox being a big name star, every wrestling promotion wants to work with him. He’s even credited with helping to jumpstart the collaboration between AEW and NJPW.
With over 16 years in the business, Moxley has had an illustrious career. Now, the grappler is getting ready to share his story in his upcoming memoir “Mox.”
“A vivid trip through the mind of the top professional wrestler in the business-a nobody from nowhere who achieved his ambitions.” That’s the tagline for Moxley’s autobiography, which is scheduled for release on November 2nd via Permuted Press.
News of Moxley’s memoir has been in the news for a while, and now fans have gotten a glimpse of what to expect. “Mox” will chronicle Jon’s upbringing in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio to his rise to stardom in the wrestling world. The book will also detail Moxley’s decision to leave WWE and jump ship to AEW, where he rediscovered his passion for the sport.
Been In The Works For A While
Moxley’s memoir has been in the works for a while. In January, Moxley’s wife Renee Paquette revealed he was writing a book during an episode of her “Oral Sessions” podcast. Paquette and Moxley’s boss, AEW founder Tony Khan have read Jon’s work and praised it as “awesome.”
Years earlier, while working in WWE as Dean Ambrose, Jon was offered the chance to publish a memoir. He would reject the offer when he realized WWE wanted him to use a ghostwriter. Now, Mox gets a chance to tell his story in his own words.
Already A Number One Bestseller
Moxley’s story is a fascinating one, and although he’s regarded as a private person, he’s giving fans a glimpse at his life in his upcoming book. Wrestling fans have been anxiously awaiting updates on his memoir, and yesterday they received a big one.
Yesterday, news broke that “Mox” was available for preorder. Diehard Moxley fans took to Twitter to share their enthusiasm for the upcoming release along with the purchase links. Although the book won’t be released for another five months, “Mox” has already shot to number one in the Wrestler Biographies section on Amazon.
Not The Only Writer In The Family
Moxley isn’t the only member of the family to become a writer. His wife Renee Paquette recently released a cookbook titled “Messy In The Kitchen.” The former WWE host has a passion for cooking and is sharing her favorite recipes in her new release.
Aside from being first-time authors, Moxley and Paquette are preparing for parenthood. Paquette is pregnant with the couple’s first child, a daughter due next month. Moxley broke the news of Renee’s pregnancy back in November 2020 during an AEW promo.
