Fans are back in the stands at sporting events. That’s certainly something that people had been anxiously waiting to do after a full year and change of being locked up.
However, because of the fact that people have been locked up a lot of the folks that you can find out on the street or at these events may not be in a friendly mood. A Rockies fan in the stands at Coors Field found that out the hard way!
Apparently, the Rockies fan must have been heckling a Padres fan, but he had to have been shouting pretty loudly. Either that was the case or they had some type of beef at the concession stand or something. What can be seen from the video is that the guy in the Padres jersey is coming in from a long distance directly to confront another man.
Things were getting heated because you can see fans starting to ignore the game and focus on the two men. Ignoring a baseball game is not that hard anyway.
When the man in the Padres jersey arrives the other fellow with whom he had a beef with immediately stands up. Only to be sent back down seconds later! Out of nowhere the man in the Padres jersey loads up and lands a right hook right to the jaw of the other dude.
You could tell right then and there that this poor fellow was gone! The man getting knocked out was apparently sitting with some friends. It’s not even the friends though that come to his aid.

As you can see from the video the people that were sitting next to the man who gets punched out are super slow to react. It’s actually people who are presumably sitting on other parts of the stands that want to defend the Rockies fan.
Luckily no further damage was done as a few bystanders tackled the man to the ground and restrained him until officials arrived.

According to Denver Police, they did “get in contact” with the man in the Padres jersey. Not exactly sure what that means. Anyway, the police department mentioned that the person who was knocked out did not want to press charges against the man in the Padres jersey.
At the end of the day, everyone got to walk home free. Well, actually we are not sure if the man who was knocked out was able to walk home. The Rockies won the game so he got some revenge on the Padres!
