Even though her fans congratulated the singer on her award, many of her 157 million followers on Instagram couldn’t help but point out her outfit, which many saw as an “Easter egg” to reveal which remastered album she was going to re-record next.
The sparkling spring Miu Miu “ensemble [was] made of white organza embellished with sequins and crystals with a floral detailed patch all over.”
The outfit seems to be a nod to the crop-top and skirt combinations that Taylor often wore while she was promoting her album, “1989.”
The “Shake It Off” singer also wore her hair straight and long, combined with long blunt bangs that are reminiscent of her time in the “Red” era.
She also wore jewels from Jessica McCormack, Sophie Billie Brahe, Ananya, Astley Clarke, and Jessie Thomas.
Although “Fearless (Remastered)” came out in April, fans are already waiting to see which album she’s going to drop next, and looking for any clues that Taylor might be throwing their way!
Swift also posted another photo of herself in the same sequined top drinking with her friends, captioning the pic, “We meet up every Tuesday night for dinner and a glass of wine.”
“NOT 13 WORDS IN THE CAPTION TAYLOR I CAN’T DO THIS AGAIN,” one fan commented, alluding to Swift’s penchant for her lucky number 13.
“Time to count the sequins on her outfit,” another teased.
“i think it’s more 1989…actually, it’s almost like a blend of folklore/evermore with 1989,” one fan wrote, while another added, “yeah her outfit it’s sooo 1989 but the picture filter and her hair screams red.”
Although some fans are excited to see which newly remastered album is going to drop next, others are still clinging to her new cottagecore tracks from her 2020 hits “folklore” and “evermore.”
