A Hollywood baby boom is in full effect. So far in 2021, a string of celebrities have either announced a pregnancy or welcomed a new baby. For a majority of these celebrities, they’re experience first-time motherhood.
Mandy Moore is one celebrity who became a mom this year. The “This Is Us” actress and her husband Taylor Goldsmith welcomed son August Harrison aka Gus back in February. The doting mom has already brought her newborn son to the set of her NBC series. Baby Gus has won over the affections of Mandy’s co-stars, who are excited when she brings him to work.
Moore is no doubt enjoying her new role as a real-life mom. And she has plenty of other celebrities who’ve joined her in the first-time mother club this year.
These days former “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale is singing lullabies instead of pop tunes. The actress/singer and her husband Christopher French announced they were expecting in September 2020. Weeks later, they revealed they were having a girl.

Throughout her pregnancy, the 35-year-old shared photos of her growing baby bump. Tisdale encouraged her followers to start loving their bodies because “they do a lot for us.” Tisdale had an easy pregnancy, and on March 23rd, she announced the birth of daughter Jupiter Iris. Little Jupiter will soon be seeing plenty of her mom’s famous friends, including Vanessa Hudgens, who’s excited to meet the baby.
2020 was a year reality star Stassi Schroeder would like to forget. The “Vanderpump Rules” star found herself in hot water after she and Kristen Doute reported their co-star Faith Stowers to the police for a crime Stowers didn’t commit. Aside from the false police report, Schroeder also came under fire for remarks that were deemed insensitive.

Schroeder apologized for her actions and is working on bettering herself. While 2020 was a tough year professionally, Schroeder found plenty to celebrate in her personal life. The 32-year-old married her boyfriend Beau Clark, and announced she was pregnant with their first child. On January 7, Schroeder gave birth to a daughter named Hartford Charlie Rose.
Stassi Schroeder wasn’t the only “Vanderpump Rules” star to become a parent this year. Co-stars Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor welcomed their son Cruz Michael on April 12th. This is the first child for Brittany and Jax, who’ve been married since June 2019.
Although, Cruz is only two weeks old, he already has a friend. Recently, Cartwright and Taylor took their son on a playdate with Schroeder’s daughter Hartford. The two babies hit it off, and the parents are already booking more get-togethers for their families.
Witney Carson’s time on the dance floor may have come to a halt. But the former “Dancing With the Stars” pro is still on her toes now that she’s a first time mom. On January 3rd, the dancer and her husband Carson McAllister welcomed son Kevin Leo.
Giving birth wasn’t easy for Witney. After a grueling 24 hours of labor, doctors had to perform a C-section. But that wasn’t the only issue plaguing the new mother. Witney later revealed that at the time of Kevin’s birth, she had tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, Carson and her son were fine.
